Little tip for Marcus (and Jon maybe) the breathing reflex doesn't come from too little oxygen - it comes from too much CO2 in your lungs. So if you steadily exhale underwater and then when you feel like you can't hold your breath any longer you exhale ALL the air in your lungs ... that should give you an extra 5-8 seconds. If you do that you might be able to do 4 instead of 2 lanes at a time :)

Doing a similar recovery on my back. I like this Doc said to use Arnica.It works for shock too. And Caullophylum. Swimming is good but must not arch lower back. Use a Finis pull buoy kick legs froggi style/glide. Then switch to arms and swim without legs .Use a grip to stabilise ankles and float feet so you are totally horizontal head to toe. It helps back a lot. 10 laps is a lot in recovery!!

It's easier to swim under the surface if you're on the bottom and if you look at the floor instead of forward (you won't feel out of air as much and you'll glide smoother). We did these exercises when I did my training for a lifeguard. Just make sure you have some mark on the bottom so you don't hit your head at the end. :)

Hey team overkill! I have an idea for the winter. Wouldn't it be amazing if you can get a day of skiing with some of the swedish freestyles like Henrik Harlaut, Jesper Tjäder, oscar Walter or even a "regular" skier like Jens byggmark?
