Working to improve sickness outcomes for people with diabetes - Jeff Johnson, professor. It is interesting to listen to this talk and replace the word 'health', with the more accurate "sickness". Occurrences of the words 'healthy' and 'healthier' are accurate but almost every, possibly every occurrence, of the word 'health' would be more accurately stated if the word "sickness" were used. George Orwell would be proud of this doublespeak. It is also telling that there is work to 'prevent' diabetes, and plans to 'treat' diabetes, but no mention of a possibility to 'cure' diabetes. It's as if cures do not exist. The only cure, for any illness, is health. But the word health has been stolen, it only appears when we speak about 'illness'. Am I the crazy one? to your health, tracy
