This was a quick little fun project to practice some soldering skills, as well as work on something small to get something done in between more detailed models. Do you find these soldering videos interesting and informative? Boring, or not necessary to the way you like to build? I'm interested to hear every ones thoughts! Thanks for watching.

I remember those kits being out several years ago, but I was scared to death to tackle something so small and intricate. And of course you make it look so easy. 😂 Awesome build, as always!

Great work as always, Clay. You make it look so easy, I think I could solder after watching this video. The finished result is really well done.

Thanks for watching, once you get the right stuff, soldering is a blast. And opens up some many new ways to make parts or chassis.

It looks well engineered kit. But I had to give up 1/43 years ago because of eye and hand issues. Nice work.

these are even smaller at 1/64 scale these are the size of hotwheels cars

WOW!! Outstanding buddy!! Very cool little kit!!! Do they make others?
@ClayKemp11 ай бұрын
Thanks Mark! He made three different ones I believe, but they were super limited. And then he kinda stopped selling parts all together.

I’ve always been intimidated by working with brass, I’m going to have to try it soon. Looks like I’m missing out on quite a bit!

Where do you get them brass kits Clay
@ClayKemp11 ай бұрын
They were sold by Michael at Dirt Modeler, but it was for a very short time. He really never got to the point of rhaving them 100% done and really selling a lot of them. Everything was only like 90% ready, then he got sick.

Great job. Where did you get the etched kit? Where did you get the wheels and tires?

Where can we get one or two
@ClayKemp11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, they are out of production. He did really small runs when he did make them. And until his health improves, I fear there may not be a dirt modeler in the future.
