Great, thanks. When you chose the "high-quality" digital option, you said you had a different method to reduce the file size. Could you say what that is, please?

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I received the notification of your uploaded tutorial at the right time. I'm not at my computer and I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it will work on my computer (I use Windows, not Apple). Previously, I tried to import a pdf by going to Document - Add Pages from File. While it did import all the pages, it seems like my content is altered. F ex, cottage is instead written as cofiage. I have a 550 page document with text and photographs to work with, and you can image the headaches if I would have to re-check the entire manuscript for such errors on every line of every page. I took a break from doing that book to sort other things. I'm praying if I do what you did, it will work for my manuscript as well. It's a big book and it would really help me. My manuscript was written in Google Drive. That's from where I generated the first pdf. Sadly, Google Drive doesn't have the size I need for printing (which is 8.25 by 11 inches). So I worked on a slightly different format in there, which gives me the same amount of pages. I just played with different size margins so when the manuscript is imported in Affinity Publisher (designed as 8.25 by 11 inches in there) and then re-exported from there and sent to print, the margins aren't too small. In your opinion and experience, do you think it will work importing that pdf without its text being altered? Thank you so much again, Elaine! I'd love to send you a greeting card from Scotland to say, 'Thanks for that!', especially if it will work. It will save me so much trouble. I was planning to release the book at Christmas, but when I saw those errors, I was so disheartened that, as mentioned, I took a break and decided to release the book in the spring. Now I will probably still release it in the spring, but at least I wouldn't have to worry about re-reading the manuscript several times. I already proofread it, and I am close to sending it to betareaders over this winter. Have a lovely day. Crina 🤗💛🤗

The picture frame technique is interesting! To import a PDF, I only ever used the menu option Document > Add Pages from file ... Are there pros and cons to that method versus the picture frame method?
