Thank you so much for your teaching💛 When I was newborn my parents placed a picture of my totem animal, next to my little bed. It stayed with me through out my childhood, I saved it, and now, I have just placed it again on the wall. My parents don't know anything about shamanism. It is a story between me and my totem animal. Gerry I love your power animal work I had a recurring dream each night where I went down a spiral staircase and was met by a terifieing bear and would wake up to me now it was a fear thing although I was never frightened of bears not sure what this animal is to me ?

I believe my power animal Is a Rook I am 61 now but at three years of age the bear nightmare was terifieing I interestingly have no fear of bears as such any guidance would be appreciated Andrew.

I always knew my Butterfly Totem was more than just a symbol. She started out as a caterpillar and blossomed into a butterfly when I grew up. She was my childhood best friend who grew up with me and she is still one of my best friends along with my other guides.

I'm so glad you made this video. I used to dance with my power animals by drumming them to me. Then I'd let each one "inhabit" me and I'd move the way they wanted. I would often laugh at myself as my body tried to twist itself and/or extend as it was moved to do so. Then I read that one was not supposed to call them lightly. That my intention had to be serious. So I quit dancing with them. Now...however... I will call them to dance once again and I'll laugh and laugh in joy.

I dreamed, several nights ago, that a hummingbird came to me on my back porch. It was several feet away but also right in front of my face at the same time. It's humming or buzzing wings permeated the entire open candle lit porch and all of the human beings on the porch felt it but couldn't see it when i asked. i was reaching and yearning for the bird and it turned to me and flew at me so fast and it flew down my throat and lifted me off the porch. It took me up into a honeyed higher place. There was a lot more to the dream but it's drawn me to spend more time in nature and to listen to what the creatures and plants have to say. Another interesting aspect was that the dream was around 40 minutes long and i drank a lot of water before falling asleep and on awakening was completely dehydrated and overwhelmed by joy and the need for water.

I'm more positive about it now,so let me share it with you.I don't get to see this owls very often for I am living in town and they don't usually come around here,but two or three years ago, four owls suddenly came in my neighborhood,in a tree right in front of my window (I'm living at level 3).I don't remember having any experiences with them before that,so without a reason,when I saw them staring at me I felt abhorrence and I was afraid of them.After 4-5 days i decided to -

I have had an amazing experience journeying. I went to the lower world but I was moving vary fast. Almost like the trees and animals around me was blurring past me. I was in search of my journey animal but I didn't know why I was going so fast. Then after seeing visions of an eagle I looked behind me and realized that Eagle was carrying me! It looked down at me with such power and wisdom that I regrettably jolted out of the journey. I feel like I disappointed him.

Our guides are very forgiving. Seems to me that being caught by surprise, being carried by Eagle, would be a great reason to be jolted out of the journey. My thought is to go back and say "Hello and Thank You for the ride!"

I am curious - my power animal is a parrot. I am 23 years old and I only found this out the other week. I have googled parrots and they are actually great communiators, bright and lively. I am all the above. But at the same time. My BIGGEST ISSUE is I have always felt "I had trouble communicating my message and that "I am not entertaining" Its my big black cloud. But it seems this is only an issue within me as no one else sees me as 'awkward at all' It is just me . But I feel it so strongly !.. why do I feel this, it is something that I cannot shake.

lynn yu I'm not an expert in power animals but I do a lot of reading up and have personal experiences with animals. Parrots being one of them :) Perhaps your issue can be solved by looking at the parrots themselves? The real animal, not just the symbolism. Parrot is just a name for MANY different species in the bird family. Not all parrots can "mimic" or "talk" as well as others, many people are only entertained by a parrot if it can mimic words. But there are other people who love all parrots the way they are, talkative or not, all have a personality and beauty of their own. Some are one person birds, and some are very self absorbed even and dont like anything more than to stare at a mirror! Not all are social butterflies.

I had two dreams recently. In the first one, I was able to make a plant flower, but it was very interesting, because this flower was red, looked like a rose, but you could eat it. The second I was in the lower word and there was a huge man wanting to destroy something, he wore make up and he looked like a skull because of it. I and somebody else were going to fight this man. We were inside of some sort of a temple made out of stone and it has water, you could swim in it, I swam like a crocodile

robins show themselves as my ancestors, not the actual robin in it's self but the idea/ feeling reminds me of my ancestor's which reminds me to be respectful of my ancestors!

I’ve had many animal guide dreams and visions. Once a vision in my waking life a white wolf.. I’ve had a black cat in a dream which resembles my cat Frankie which leads me to my first question can guides come to you in this life..? I’ve also had many intense dreams of alligators all of a sudden being in a swamp somewhere and being swarmed by alligators. I once had another vision in my waking life of a huge crocodile..what could it mean when I get swarmed or attacked was he angry with me. At the time I was ignoring the signs of my spiritual path.. and even lashing out at the guides coming through. I was very confused at the time. But now seeing it wasn’t that way I want to help my spirit guides as much as they help me. What are a few helpful way to bring back the trust…? Also I think I might have a shamanic connection I’ve had intense dreams my whole life and they do linger in my waking life. Also had been diagnosed with bipolar and schizophrenia at 17 which I’m now just getting better at 28 to 29. Also many spirits have been around me since that time. I just don’t know how to manage sometimes and get overwhelmed I don’t have a teacher.

1st time truly journey was this Thanksgiving. I saw owl red squrrl and sadly great grezzly bear but it was so angry at me it clawed to roared and I was not afraid but told it with respect to go away I slk was thinking was a bear but didn't think have one so angry after I ask it go away I have been super less angry then right after that bear leaving a peacock green and beautiful showed up more then once show me his father's. Can power animals fight with each other? Iv always had the bear and ravin, and they always work well together but one day i was working with the ravin and then out of the blue the bear was angry and attacked the ravin. I quickly got out of that meditation.

It might be very interesting to journey again to see what might have been the message Bear and Raven might have been showing you. That they fought was not so much about animosity, but showing you something about conflict.

I'm 13 years old and I always had a love for horses and wolves, I honestly love all animals but as you said, u drew falcon logos and I just draw for fun but when I was little I drew horses and started drawing wolves. Then I heard about spirit guides and totem animals so I did meditation, my first animal was a wolf and I started to think "was this just in my imagination? Was I talking to a fake wolf?" I think my imagination is very active and it's hard to find my spiritual animal...

MY Power animal is Tiger she has a name but also she becomes/ying/ yang because also is a he..I understand this..i also have a male lion and in the essence of a back ground a Jaguar who is very illusive and comes with a distinct smell and energy that is very alien to me but not..? My life is not easy my Tiger is so loyal and protective of me..It is who I am..I have a group of stoats who scout 4 me the truth of a situation and the truth is a very hard pill 2 swallow....My life is difficult since I chose this path ..the lessons hard..My ego which has served me well 2 survive..no longer is needed..i also have a very hostile grey old wolf..who does like humans but always shows up when i am lost .which is often its like he is pissed off with me but has to be there any way!!!
