It's pretty simple. Unless it's your gate, if it's closed, close it behind you. If a gate is open, leave it open. There are times an open gate is the only access to water for cattle in the area.

No reason not to keep doing it until it is laying upside down in a ditch like that car you saw. I'm looking forward to seeing my camper at least get to where it is "weather-proof". Surprisingly, he doesn’t seem to mind it. As long as he’s next to me, he’s happy ha ha It is pretty fun though going out and exploring the desert although this video made me rethink a few things. Currently I’m loading up the tracker with overnight gear in case I get stuck. And I haven’t told anyone yet, but I think I’m going to do a mock up 4 x 4 breakdown video. Where I go out for wheeling and then pick a random spot to pull over like I broke down and then try to camp there all night with the gear that I brought to see how it is. I think that video along with the bathroom remodel video will be in January.

YES, on the the bathroom reno! I moved two houses to our almond orchard and my husband and I did most of the work ourselves, except a few things like drywall mud and texture, the concrete pours into the fondation forms, the guys from MID helped with those. So heck yes, let me see your house on wheels get renovated.

You stated that your geo smoked bad when you drive down the highway. I see you dumping (yellow bottle oil) in it. I put over 448,000 miles on my Chevy (gas) pickup. I started using Rotella 15-40 diesel oil. Shell oil keeps the inside clean ! And you being in the desert you won't have any trouble with cold starts.. try it ! And I can most always find it on sale

When I use to 4 wheel I hated leaning sideways. When I was riding with someone I would have to get out and walk I was ok if I was driving LOL!! Might want to consider a cassette toilet for you remodel. They dont require a dump station which is a pain, still not pleasant to clean but you can do it anywhere.

Your Tracker does a better job than my Sussucky Samurai did. A smoking trans, replaced twice, rewelding body parts and a grenaded engine caused me to get rid of it. Only got a hundred off road miles out of it, but, managed to carry two seperate bull elk out of the Carson Nat. Forest in NM. I would kill for an old M151A1 GI jeep.

Yeah, so far I really like the Geo tracker! It does smoke out of the tailpipe at times but I think I recently figured out what that was. I think it’s the transmission vacuum module. I’m gonna replace that hopefully next week and then see if that stops the smoking. Other than that, it starts up and runs great! Sorry to hear about your samurai. Think samurai looked better than the trackers but from everything I’ve heard I’m glad I ended up with the tracker. Ha ha ha Thank you so much for watching. 🙏

You would be amazed at where that tracker can go. We ran Suzuki samurai, and Suzuki trackers all over Arizona and that Wickenburg area, when in doubt gas it out if there’s any sway bars on that thing disconnect them, way more flex and articulation.

I got stuck once in my little 2002 Ford Escort trying to leave a sandy river bar. It was essy enough going down but not so much going back up. I then took my knife, which had about an 8 inch blade and cut down some nearby vegetation, basically very thick weeds and placed them in front of my front tires so they would have something to grab onto. That got me out of there like a charm. For better results, tire wide strips of fairly thick rubber that you can place in front of your wheels might help for the next time that happens.

Once again a great video Larry. As far as the remodel goes just go for it. I think it would be a fatastic, down to earth vide that everyone could enjoy. I might suggest you might want to look at gettinh an oldrr Jeep Wrangler that has a soft top, six cyl. Engine, manual trans., lovking differentials , 33" mud terrain tires, ac and a soft top. I think this would be the perfect vehicle for you and your little buddy. I'd look for one built between '97 and '06. Just an idea that could alleviate some off road stress. I know that I love to take mine out on all the roads that are very similar to the ones in this video. Just an idea. Keep doing what you're doing!

Larry you'd be surprised at the prices of the TJ Wrangler. Just keep your eyes open for a deal. Many times you can find one in the area of 13k to 14k that would be all you'd want or need. Take care and watch your six!

In situations like when your tires were just spinning. You can power brake it, two foot it , feel it out and it'll cause the open differentials to lock up and give you true 4x4 and hopefully help you climb on up.

Good job! Meanwhile, I would like to suggest a side by side off-road vehicle, a Kawasaki or other makes. Easy to tow and can take on any trail.
