Callisthenics its not a sport , its not a hobby, its not what im doing. Its who I am..it is like food and water.. i cant leave without it even for one day ..its something that i owe everything, something that changed literally, who i am , who i want to be and who i WILL be ..maybe its the hardest thing i have ever done to my life with so many failure's and falls but this is what make me more successful, more strong and with more motivation and love it more than my life ...for me it seems impossible to do those incredible skills like planche and one arm handstands but this is what makes me to want it even more .. because when i started i couldn't even do more than ( example) 6 pull ups , more that 3 dips but here i am now with 20 pull ups, more that 40+ dips ,10 muscle ups, handstand push-ups, handstand presses and back/ front levers to consider me as the hardest worker in the room with all the progress i have make from beginner to intermediate/advance athlete

I've been weight lifting for 2years now and i can say that calisthenics are way better than weight lifting, im sick of the unrealistic physics out there and the programme scams and all the body dysmorphia, im gonna inshalah start calisthenics , i mean you get a good physic and learn some sick movement and also be flexible which gonna make you a lot healthier

During most of my life I've been suffering from low self-esteem because of my funnel chest. I think it's time I face my fears and insecurity to improve myself into something much better, I am sure with motivation and willpower I will make it. Starting this journey at 16 Update 1: I've had surgery for my funnel chest (AKA pectus excavatum, not to mention i had a severe case), so my progress is halted for now. I expect to retake training slowly around October. I'm not going to give up. Update 2: Alright, around 8 months later i'm here to update you guys about my physique. I fully returned to my training around december, now it's march and i've been training in the gym for almost two months. so far? a lot of improvements, i'm slowly getting bigger, got some muscles that are starting to grow and be defined, and most importantly, my chest, which has been sunken in due to malformation, is now growing, so i'm very happy for that. i've been also seeing psychological changes, such as, being disciplined, giving importance to things other than comfort, taking everything else other than the gym such as studies more seriously, and more. hopefully i should be giving another update by the end of april, that's all for now Update 3: i completely forgot about this, but i stopped for a good amount of months shortly after april which resulted in the loss of the little i had gained. HOWEVER, i got back into it in december and i completely locked in. today, February 18th of 2024, i can proudly say i got bigger than ever before, still i'm not exactly jacked, but there's some notable growth, so, progress is progress. probably will update eventually.

It's easier... Calisthenics has a higher barrier of entry, and is much harder.
@bushspring2 жыл бұрын
@@phatheadkyle8088 I disagree, calisthenics is great for beginners, can't do a pushup? How about knee assisted? Oh your not up to that yet, well try wallups and we'll progress from there. Calisthenics builds, strength, balance, stamina, strengthens mind to body relationship and burns fat and a lot of it translate into real life movements and most exercises are compound shortening workout time. Perfect for the beginner.
@phatheadkyle80882 жыл бұрын
@@bushspring Proven by many athletes, what i said is true. Takes alot more energy and drive to do calisthenics too. Simply pushing weights in the gym is laughably easy. I've trained calisthenics for 5 years, and can hands down tell you that progression is 10x slower than what it is in the gym. (I come from a long line of bodybuilders and powerlifters)
