I bought this model a few months ago, and being a complete novice, I watched your videos on ceramic rod sharpening. THANK YOU Chris!! Dull knives now cut beautifully again. I can get them sharp enough to do your paper shredding test, but I'm not quite at the forearm hair test. Practice, practice, practice 👍

Shame they discontinued the M3 sharpening steel. That had a interchangable diamond & ceramic rod. (17 degree guide)

Hey Chris; I have found your videos about 2 months ago and find your knife reviews to be a fun watch. I admit (as unpopular as it is compared to your other knives); the JX4 Bush Bat is my Grail knife. However, it seems I am late to the scene... I ordered one from Opticsplanet being the only place that has it listed... Would you happen to know how I can get my hands on one if the order doesn't go through? I like that ceramic rod vs the one I have had for decades. The one I have is a 1" diameter rod I found at gunshow and the hand is nice wood but its too big for the rod so I have to stuff a paper towel to keep the handle on it. It is very cumbersome.
