Mr. DecerningMan, excellent video, great job in sharpening that knife. I have the same Ken Onion Edition sharpener, love how sharp you can get a knife with it. But you are definitely right about stropping a knife at the last step. But I have to work on not hitting that tip of the knife blade wrong and practice on some cheap kitchen knifes first till I get it down, is what I did. Make sure you tell the wife be careful not to cut yourself because there extra sharp now. That's what I did if you only had expensive pocket knifes at the time. I must say that edge you put on that knife, I think that edge looked like a factory type edge or close to it, ok 👍. Loved that video and take care from Charles

Once it got mirror reflective you could see the beads of light lined up on the blade moving

You got that whistle sharp and love the contrast between the edge and blade. You ever use a polishing pad and compound on a buffing wheel? I'm tempted but have no experience and am afraid to mess up a blade.
