We were honoured to join the Annual Meeting of the Swedish Chile Pepper Association as we explored the rich world of "Beef Rendang and Sambal Oelek" on Sunday, 28 January 2024
Mr. Prasto Suminar, an Indonesian Professional Chef, demonstrated the audience on how to make Beef Rendang and several types of Indonesian Sambals. He shared not only the recipes but also the essence and philosophy behind these iconic dishes.
The afternoon was getting more and more interesting as there was a beef rendang competition too!
Culinary enthusiasts in the association ignited their passion for Indonesian spices and seemed to have keen interest in spicing up their skill in the art of Indonesian flavours.
