I have not had that issue. Make sure you are punching for the first point and interacting for the second point. Hope this helps!

Hi! This is a Minecraft limitation, we cannot save data from unloaded chunks. But there is something you can do to increase the distance. To get around this you can increase your simulation distance in the world settings. By default, it will be set to 4 chunks (64 blocks), but you can up the value to 12 (192 blocks) for further reach. Standing near the center of your selection also helps if you run into "Cannot modify unloaded chunks".

If you interact when looking at air it will select air. Try standing up close to a different block and interacting with the block selector. That should work to select the block that you want. Crouch and interact for the other block selection options (gradient or pattern). Hope this helps!😊

I think you build in Creative, but when your done building you can always switch back to Survival with OP commands.

Possibly a bug or just an aspect that isn't being reported correctly. When I have a build selected the entire build is within the selection box, the entire build is visibly rendered including several chunks outside of the build radius it refuses to let me edit the build further stating that it cannot modify unloaded chunks As stated no chunks in the build area appear unloaded and yet the error persists Is there an unlisted limit to how much can be interacted with at one time? If so that is seriously unfortunate and very limiting in terms of build scale. If this limit could be extended or at the very least the copy/paste mechanic adjusted to only care about blocks within it's radius and not the entire chunk that would be ideal, otherwise having the limits provided in the builder manual should be a consideration for a future update to this add on.

how to you make the gradient go from down to up? Mine only goes left to right when making a wall/box

It's all to do with the first and second point that you select. Try playing around with which block in your gradient is the first and second point. (At 8:00 I made the purple wool the first point and white wool the second, but you can also do it the other way around.) Do the same with first and second point of your box. Notice how at 12:58 I make pyramids with the gradient starting from top to bottom and then bottom to top.

I have not tested that. It could work if you make sure to turn on "include entities in selection" (which I show at the end of the video with a wandering trader) because some of the blocks in the furniture addons are secretly entities 🤫

Hi! It sounds like you might be right clicking (interacting) every time. Right click (Interact) will always set your second position, but left click (Attack / Punch) will set your first position. Hopefully that solves your issue!
