Imagine if they did something with Mephiles similar to the episode “Haunted” from Teen Titans, with Mephiles being Shadow’s “inner demon” of sorts and trying to get under Shadow’s skin through what is essentially mental torture, until he is finally able to manifest a physical form again and ends up posing an even bigger threat than before. Might just be me but I think that that would be a pretty awesome Mephiles revival.
