I really feel like both Renee and Taylor represent the two different types of Queen Mean you can meet in high school. Taylor gives off a more entitled rich girl who pretends to be sweet but will spread all kinds of rumors about you behind your back. She whispers gossip about everyone to everyone else. Imagine rumors flying while applying makeup in the bathroom type of aesthetic. Much like how she was portrayed in the movie. Renee however seems to play it more real. At least for high schools within the past 5-10 years, the “mean girls” are more like Renee: strong and extremely powerful women that look like they will kill you with more than just her words. If you mean nothing to here she _will_ let you know and will do everything to make sure you can’t recover socially. Really it’s Intimidation Power vs. Seduction and Adoration

I love how Renee and Taylor sound so different singing this. Taylor sounds more evil, threatening, and sinister while Renee sounds more angry and powerful

I don’t get why people hate on this girl’s acting. I would like to see them try to get a role on Broadway straight out of high school. Her acting as well as her singing was nothing less than killer. Plus, in her acting scenes, she made me laugh and was extremely believable as Regina.

EXACTLY! I’d also like to see em earn a role of a character as important as Regina

Taylor was amazing as Regina and it was cool that she captured a high schooler character well despite being 29, and I liked how she gave Regina her own interpretation. However Reneé impresses me even more because she actually IS a teenager and is still able to have the sultry but massive range required for Regina. Taylor had the perfect voice for Regina since she’s older so with Reneé I’m even more shocked because she’s a teenager cast as a teenager but can still do what Taylor was able to do. Both are incredible, Regina is a tough role

She's just so powerful and has that scary evil vibe that's perfect for Regina I can't get enough!

I can’t wait to compare and contrast this version from the one in the upcoming movie. Her voice has only improved in the 4 years since. I can’t wait to watch Renee bring the house down as Regina one final time.

The way that both Taylor and Renee bring so much character to Regina George and portray her so differently. I listened to both versions and I LOVE THEM for different reasons. These women are incredibly talented and I literally cannot choose between who I love more.

I’ve seen her live performances (not the musical but she just sings) she seems so bubbly and sweet, but then once she starts to sing she straight up scares me with the way she can change her personality that quickly.
