I fully agree with you on many counts...GT7 AI needs to be more realistic. They need to be in a race with us, AND WITH EACH OTHER.!!! At the moment. They just sort themselves out into an orderly queue for you to pass one at a time.. Once you're past them, we'll, they may aswell dissolve off the track completely. They never challenge you back. ... in fact, they seem to slack off and give up... ... I watch a friend of mine race Gran Turismo 3 A- Spec... Against AI.. And that is a serious slugfest between the AI, and a REAL battle to get the lead and keep it... The technology was there 20 years ago. Why has it gone backwards????? Technology and AI is so much more advanced now, but you can't get an adrenaline charged battle on with Ai, Where the entire AI field is out on track for the win. And ready ti trade paint to get it.!!! Watch Black Raven Racing, and you'll see what I mean. Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec AI was BETTER. Rough and rugged Slugger, GT7, AI, in comparison, is pure genius with a pretty face, and the orders to drive in a queue and let you pass if you can.

I agree with what you are saying but I get a car with the suggested PP then race on the same level as the AI.

That is exactly what I used to do for the challenge an to learn, little did I know that it was hurting my skills way too much. Now, I only grind these on easy to fill in the check boxes each week.

@@playstationracer67-GT7 My biggest problem is setting the cars suspension, tow, etc. I look at some of these online races and people are running 5 to 10 seconds faster than my best time and you aren't allowed to adjust anything on the car, how the heck do they do that. My main gripe is my game is 100% complete but I still need two cars to have all of them and both require an invitation to the dealership to get them and so far, a year now I've never gotten the invitation to get either one of them. They should be gifted or available on the PS store. When I get a 3, 4 or 6 star gift it's always the lowest pay or crappiest part you can possibly get. Thanks for listening to me bellyache Mitch.

The invitations are another of my biggest gripes with the game. I race every day and get tickets regularly. I have all of the invitation cars (I think) but still I get invitations for cars that I have already bought. It is nonsense when so many other people are waiting and waiting for the right invitation to come around. They are one of the silliest ideas in the game.

PD gives you a recommended pp limit in these races, they could make it that you cannot use a car over that pp. Also, they should give the pp for the gr3 & gr4 races too, so, again, it should only let you enter with a car pp lower.. They do this in some career races, it should be a blanket rule on every race. And AI just needs a massive overhaul. It used to be good in GT3 & GT4, don't know why it has been watered down since GT5. Payouts need, again, a blanket value.. Like the Spa 1hr, 1M.. So 30min is 500k, 15min is 250k and so on.. With a pp hard limit, better ai and a set payout value, it would be a good use to try different cars and track combos instead of just the 4 grinds we have now. It is a sorry state, but doubt PD would ever listen to anybody, doesn't seem in their nature.

It did make me feel better though and maybe, just maybe PD might see this video and the comments and think again - I know that they wil not, but I have to believe that they are listening, somewhere and to someone who actually races GT7. I know that I delusional, but . . .

That small change would change a lot in these races, plus some weather and forced strategy. These could then be pretty rewarding challenges. For now, they are little more than a mindless grind to fill in the main screen check boxes each week.

Did 3 out of 5 weekly challenges on spare account last night, didn't get get the rewards, did just 1 out of 5 weekly challenges on main account last night straight after doing the 3 on spare account, & got the 6 star reward for just the 1, what gives

Tbh, this issue pretty much sums up GT7s identity crisis right now. Is it a single player or multiplayer game? It seems lost between the two. I have zero interest in the challenges as I'm solely focused on daily races, I'll only grind them when they're credit biased, and only at the moment while building credits to buy the last two cars required to complete the collection...

Mitchell, I think you have the wrong mic selected when recording. Quality isn't as good as when live.

I did, my usual DJI mic was flat and I had half an hour to get this one recorded and I used my headphone mic. I'll not be doing that again.
