Uzbekistan no.2 Nodirbek Abdusattorov is in terrific form. He won two consecutive strong open tournaments in Spain before he started his World Rapid and Blitz 2021 campaign. In the third round of World Rapid 2021, he was paired against former world championship challenger and current world no.3 Fabiano Caruana. And once tourneys resumed, you saw a lot of players under 20 make huge rating gains at the expense of older 2600+ players
