This day initiated by Let's Do It World NGO is an annual consciousness-raising event, involving almost every country in the world, focusing on the need for permanent solutions to address pollution in our cities and in nature. Every year, tens of millions of people from across the globe act as one, to bring the message that solutions are both needed and possible.
World Cleanup Day has become the biggest civic movement in human history, uniting 211 countries and territories, including 95% of UN member states, engaging volunteer numbers equal to 1.1% of global population - all striving to create a cleaner planet.
