When I sorted a bunch of coins like this, I laid a world map on the floor and made little piles on the relevant country. I now have bags/envelopes separated into countries then grouped into continents, and am not sure where to go from there. Looking for inspiration on where to start!

I have a world coin collection which was my father's. He gave it to me when I was a kid. He instilled in me the hobby of coin collection and stamps. Although I took philately to heart in my youth, I still have a wooden chest of the collection. Not sure what to do with it. I might make a video showcasing them. I also don't take care of it as I am not into numismatics, but videos like this rekindled the interest. Great collection!

My foreign coin collection is somewhat limited. I do collect US but also Canada, Germany, and Great Britain. Great video! Best of luck with going to college! I hope that you do well and put in the time and effort to graduate! ;-)

Hi Jeanne. We have a lot of books to figure these out, but lots of times we just Google as much of the information from the coin as possible and it usually brings us to a page with plenty of information. Good luck!
