World Cruise Day 21: Hanging Out With Seals In Walvis Bay, Namibia

‪@WorldJourneyFamily‬ takes a catamaran on their 21st day of the MSC World Cruise 2024 in Walvis Bay, Namibia. With the great hospitality of Namibia Dolphins & Seal Catamaran Cruises and the expertise of their tour guide, Theresa, the family set sail for 3.5 hours of fun! They didn’t realize how fun and exciting this would be, but this has definitely been one of the highlights of their world cruise on the MSC Poesia so far! Shortly after sailing away, they met some seal friends who swam alongside the boat for a while, Bobby and Bubbles! After that, they were able to feed the seagulls fish! Such an amazing experience holding the fish up in the air and having the birds swoop down to snatch up the fish! Little did they know, their fun was just beginning! They were treated to drinks, coffee and tea to start and then some juices, rum, and champagne a short while later! They approached the coastline of Skeleton Coast, where there were THOUSANDS of Cape Fur Seals gathered! They had babies recently, so the adults were protecting them fervently from the jackals who were laying low waiting for their time to pounce! After visiting there, they were treated to an amazing smorgasbord aboard the vessel where they were able to try fresh oysters, a delicacy that nobody in their family had tried before! Every member of the family tried oysters! After that, it was time to head back to dock the boat. On the ride back, Bobby and Bubbles met up with the catamaran again…this time hopping on board to say hi and hang out with the family! They got to feed and pet their new friends before heading back in to dock the boat! Such an amazing adventure with many more to come!
