World Cup 24/25 ALGB: Men Pursuit Highlights

It was a masterclass performance by Johannes Thingnes Boe on the BMW IBU World Cup men's pursuit of Annecy-Le Grand Bornand. The Norwegian could afford a miss in the final range to claim his 88th victory, 11 years after his first one, which came here in France. Eric Perrot and Emilien Jacquelin gave the crowd what they wanted with a magnificent 2-3 for the local team.

It's absolutely fabulous what Shamaev did today in this pursuit. He shot 20 out of 20 in the shooting range, even though he didn't do any penalty lap, and he still lost about 26 seconds on his skis if I'm correct and didn't miscalculate. And this jump of 23 positions (49th - 26th) is truly an exceptional result for him and for Romania. For me it's like a win and I'm very proud of him and the performance he did today. I expect to see him tomorrow at the 15km block start test to get more important points. It will be a very interesting trial with many twists and turns that I am looking forward to. 😊🇹🇩

JTB est déjà en forme ,contrairement a l'année dernière. IL VA PULVERISER LE RECORD de Bjorndaelen . respect a ce très grand biathlète. LE MEILLEUR DE TOUT LES TEMPS . il est impressionnant . DEMAIN si il y a du vent il sera plus vulnérable , mais ce mec ne doute jamais . il va ouvrir quelques portes mais pas beaucoup .

I do too, which surprises me. I always found them quite poor commentators, especially compared to the Norwegian and Swedish ones. With the new ones, I think I’ve watched one race, and couldn’t bring my self to watch any more. I do think the female commentator has potential, if paired with someone else though.
