Good show guys! Mckennie is also better than you think, coming off a calf injury but he was reason we qualified and his tricks and box to box outclassed every #8 in group B. Forshaw is the perfect profile to come off the bench in midfield for Leeds. When Adams and especially Roca are gassed at the end of games we need somebody who can keep the ball and draw defenders in if we're winning. And a striker that can bring the ball down when we go long so we can actually clear it. I'm hoping the rumors that we're letting Forshaw and Klich go this winter mean we're getting a midfielder. Sasa Lukic is apparently who we're after and would fit perfectly IMO.
@dau10242 жыл бұрын
@@clivet3252 I wouldn't mind giving that a try. It's a tough call, because it would make it much easier for opponents to play through our press, but it might be worth it in certain situations. I don't think Roca is quick enough to handle that role which is a bit of a problem. I don't think Dallas could do it either. It's a shame Forshaw can't stay fit because we could use him with Adams when we want to be more defensive and save Roca for when we need to attack.

@@clivet3252 it's funny ya know, because we spent 2 seasons in the Premier league utilising klich too deep in the midfield when he has no real defensive tendencies. Klich has always looked more comfortable breaking forward from midfield and arriving late in and around the box. But to do this he needs a solid midfield platform behind him. Therefore he would be best served in a 3. Now we have that solid platform in adams and roca, we no longer utilise klich for those attacking qualities 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣 4-3-3 would suit us well. Klich, Adams and roca as a midfield 3. With Aaronson, rodrigo and summerville as a front 3. Now we have that in adams and roca I feel klich would be worth a go in a midfield 3 with them 🤷♂️🤷♂️ Sinisterra has been injured all season on and off and Harrison hasn't turned up since August 21st against Chelsea tbf mate, so it's not like either player has shone really is it?! 🤔🤷♂️🤷♂️🤣🤣🤣 I don't get this thing we have as a fanbase where we don't think certain players are worth a chance, but we think others (like Harrison) are just worth a constant starting place regardless 🤷♂️

I also think Reyna is a little too daring at times and gives the ball away cheaply, in midfield, and we need to keep teams from getting out on the break against us. I think the fact that we gave up one goal on a pen, (none from live play) in three games proves Berhalter chose the right team every game. We should have scored more than two goals with the chances we had. These players have been playing together for 5 or 6 years, they are just young. They may ger past the Dutch but that's about as far as I see us going. But the football is much better under this manager.
