Zealand with all due respect, you're absolutely wrong about Bahrain v Indonesia. While it's true that Bahrain was "dominating", what the highlight didn't show you was the (fellow Arab gulf state Oman) referee Ahmed Al-Kaf give too many foul calls for Indonesia (almost 3 to 1 for the benefit of Bahrain) which makes it incredibly hard for Indonesia to regain momentum. While Bahrain can be a lot harsher on their defense and get away with it. Also the whole officiating teams (ref, linesman, VAR) all come from Arab gulf state! Also when Oeratmangoen scored late in the 1st half, the ref willing to spend some time to check the VAR in hope to disqualify the goal. But when Bahrain scored the last goal that could be potentially offside, the ref didn't even allowed Indonesia's appeal to check the VAR and immediately end the match. Also per FIFA rule there was no legitimate reason (nothing going on) during that (already long) 6 additional minutes to prolong the match even longer for additional 3 long minutes. Though we know we're not playing our best, we still absolutely deserved the win and for it to be robbed in such fashion really hurt us as an up and coming aspiring nation. We're so close! So let me say (and on behalf of my fellow countryman) that I'm though a bit hurt but also more than anything else deeply disappointed that you didn't give your commentary (about us) the due diligence it deserved because if you truly do, you'll reached the same conclusion as all of us in Asia (excluding the Arab gulf states) and will called them out on their Arab shenanigans. For the betterment of football in Asia, you have the opportunity to use your big international platform to highlight the corruption & monopoly that fester in AFC by the Arabs. By shining the light on them, more people will know and care then I hope more people will demand change and have Arab's power and influence severely diminished in AFC so other nations can have fair chance to rise. I hope you spend the time it deserved and look into it a bit deeper and make maybe one more video about it that us football fans in Asia (excluding the Arabs gulf states) truly deserved, thank you.

The issue is the gulf teams look after eachother at the expense of other countries. Indonesia were undoubtedly robbed, it was similar when Bahrain played Australia (although admittedly Australia should still be good enough to beat Bahrain even with obvious favouritism). The Arab states don't like Indonesia developing because it means less spots for them, they don't really want Australia in AFC because it means less spots for them. If you look at a gulf state team verse a non-gulf team, with the game being refereed by a gulf-state ref - it's obvious favouritism; players are allowed to go down easy and waste time, while their opposition are carded for the slightest offences (and inconsistently); it is a clown show, hard to watch, and why people won't take Asian football seriously.
@Me-ui1zyАй бұрын
Lmao, these kind of cry baby excuses for draws is why people dont take Indonesian footballs seriously. The come up has been crazy cool to see but anytime something goes slightly wrong there is a giant conspiracy out against Indonesia. Like jesus christ. I disagree with your Bahrain vs Indonesia take. You can't just watch the extended highlight if you want to analyze what happened. Many here have mentioned other calls in the first 90' of the game. I'm not going to go over those. But just watch the injury time in the 2nd half. Won't take you more than 10 minutes. +6 was given. It was the minimum, yes, but for that to be extended, something had to happen. Injuries, time wasting, major stoppage, etc. None of those happened in the +6' of extra time. In +7' and +8', there were opportunities for the ref to blow the whistle. Whistle was not blown. The goal at 90+9' was not checked by VAR, even though Oratmangoen's goal was checked by VAR and both had potential offside. I agree that saying the game was "rigged" from the beginning is too far. Indonesia could've defended better and went for the corner flag when they had the goal in +8'. However, you can't disregard or deny that the referee was biased in his decisions. Also, Bahrain's FA posted on their official IG account that the goal was scored at 90+6'. Zealand, just take the 10 minutes to watch the end of the match. Come back then. I've seen you put a lot more efforts into smaller and less inconsequential (albeit fun) topics in your videos.

The AFC Channel should have the full match VOD, so you can watch what's going on during that time window.
