Everyone hating on them... that routine is hard. They are world champs. Imagine the pressure. They are just trying. The music is creative and it makes them stand out. Y’all be saying it’s rushed and chaotic that’s what cheer is about there is supposed to be so many things going on at once and you get judged on how fast your routine is. This routine is creative. SE is amazing but there is nothing visual or creative about that routine. And it is slow. So hush haters

stars are cracking under the pressure of being the reigning world champs in times where the season after a worlds win is held up to a high standard. they hit day 1 and was stressed bc they didn’t really expect to hit. their difficulty is beyond the charts but they can’t project the skills due to messy formations. give stars a break, i’m more than sure they’ll come back better than ever.

Could be floor-work and dead time. For examples their elite groups are close together whereas first and second are spread apart taking up the full floor. It may not seem like much those visual impressions can make a difference.

Am I the only one who dislikes their music every year? It's cool that they do a theme because it makes them stand out, but there is always at least one section of their routine that is really cheesy. Particularly this year the "statue of liberty" section in the elites and the "Happy new year" section are kind of... cringeworthy. Again, these girls are extremely talented, and this isn't a criticism of them...more so a criticism of their coaches' selections.

@@kaylalorentz3020Totally agree! The "statue of liberty" motion in the stunts needs to go. It doesn't add visual interest or difficulty or flexibility. It looks like they are hesitantly attempting a jazzercise move or trying and failing to arabesque like a middle school cheer squad. Switching their foot adds difficulty points, but the messiness of this transition is distracting and looks like a mistake. Considering how skilled their flyers are, I do not understand this choice.

Lillian Waldron to say it looks like they just learned this is a huge ass stretch. Like if you don’t like WC go look at SE or whoever the hell you like. All these hating ass SE fans are annoying AF, at the end of the day these are teenage girls not grown ass women, they are still kids. Lucky these teams have strong coaches to keep their heads strong if not these mean ass comments and uneducated ass opinions would tear them apart. This takes all the fun out of the sport.

Anna Leigh their theme is like jersey girls go to New York and I think they tried to make it so they have parts that everyone knows about nyc so they put the happy New Years part in
