that first game against Japan is going to be so crucial. the Japanese can play very well technically and can finish but can also be dominated physically so it will be important for Ivory coast to take their chances. I will be happy to see King Drogba go to second round

On paper they are a fantastic team, Drogba, Bony, Toure brothers, Kalou, Zokora and they have been very unlucky in the last two tournaments with very hard draws. The pressure is on them this time as it'll be the last tournament for a lot of these players. I expect them to qualify in second place behind Japan. If they can play a higher tempo game than what they did at last years African nations cup then this should be a great year for Ivory Coast
