World Doll Day Show! - What I Got! + My Experience!

Hey my beautiful dolly friends! Over the weekend I got to attend the awesome spring/summer World Doll Day Show in Sacramento, California! It was such a great time! I wanted to capture some of the booths as well as talk about my experience, and of course share my haul!

Thanks for taking us along! I'm glad that your boyfriend accompanied you because while I have enjoyed a few doll shows, they are way more fun when you have a friend along. I did enjoy your showing and describing your experience. Congratulations on getting the Power Barbie & Ken set. I laughed at your comment that they looked as though they had had plastic surgery; I agree, they do. Aside 0:53 the big-haired blonde doll in a red jumpsuit with a silver tinsel bib - that's Eegee's Dolly Parton doll! Neat find.

Such an AMAZING doll show! I've had some reborn dolls sold on Amazon pop up in my Facebook feed for $50 something dolls. I don't know if I could go to a doll show due to crowds that could overwhelm dear old me. Speaking of dolls, I saw this fashion doll that's Takara-Tomy's answer to Barbie in Japan named Licca-chan a while back, and they had a Licca-chan dressed in a Mario outfit! (yes, the Nintendo character) Speaking of Mario, I got to go see The Super Mario Bros. Movie at a drive-in over in Lockport, NY last Friday with my parents. IMHO it was FAR MUCH better than the infamous Super Mario Bros. live action film from 1993 that had the late Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo as Mario and Luigi respectively. If you haven't seen it, you're not missing much since the movie was TERRIBLE. I busted out laughing when you showed your Barbie and Ken and called them "Plastic Surgery Barbie and Ken". I was cooing at the Stitch pins for your boyfriend. Speaking of Stitch, I read they're making a live action Lilo and Stitch remake. Also, regarding Barbie, there's this site promoting the Barbie movie with Margot Robbie where one can take a selfie and make their own Barbie poster. I'm thinking about making a video of that soon. Try it if you don't believe me. Also, if you don't know about Takara Tomy's Licca-chan, look up the doll on Google images - I suggest you look up "Licca-Chan Mario" to see what her Mario outfit looks like! -Andrea

Awesome! Looks like it was a beautiful day for a doll show! I hope to go to one someday! Thank you for filming some of your experience, I think that you did great. It’s interesting to see the different dolls that were on display❤️ lol I love the “plastic surgery” Ken and Barbie. Their clothes are nice. Aw stitch is cute. I don’t remember seeing the pink bear character. That’s sweet to receive the cars for free just for noticing! I really like the doll from 97. Definitely a sweet gift. I’m glad y’all had fun! I also really like to be around people who appreciate dolls as much as I do, but yeah clouds of people can be awkward to me as well.

Loved seeing the dolls at the doll show, I wish there was something like that here. You were very good to only make one purchase, I have a feeling I would have wanted to buy everything I saw. I do remember seeing images of this Barbie and Ken set, they are definitely very unique looking and I like their matching clothes.
