As far as I know, apologies if this is not correct, the jackals icon cannot be used on your first blood roll. Index states " Icon of Khorne: Each time you make a Blessings of Khorne roll, if the bearer’s unit is within range of an objective marker you control, you can re-roll one of the dice." You control the objective during your command phase and the first blood blessings roll is done before that. Please correct me if im wrong!

Where does it actually say that you don't control the objective at the start of the first turn? I've been trying to find where this is stated as they mention that quite often at VT? Thanks in advance!

@@TheIkirai In this scenario, where the game just started, you´ll control the objective where the Jackals are placed on your command phase ( Unless any external trigger, no battle shock will be required). Blessing of Khorne happen "at the start of the battle round" where yet is to start any player command phase hence any of the players technically control any objetive markers.

The Eightbound aura lets you re roll 1s to wound all the time, and full re roll when the unit is below half strength

Great game Isnt it better to keep one victrix alive instead of removing them first ? In order to take advantage of Calgar's FNP later Once this is not an attached unit anymore, you can allocate wounds to Marneus

@27:20 how did the jackals get onto the objective with a charge move? My understanding was that every model has to end its move closer to the charged unit. Sorry I'm still fairly new.

I believe the way it works is, i a model can base its intended target then it must. If it cannot come into base to base contact then you basically just need to stay within coherency rules. This is why sometimes you want to roll low on some close range charges. This is also how you can do some pile in shennanigans to get into combat with Fights First units and not trigger the effect, that last one there i might not be completely correct on.

@@manuelquintana2225 No but every model in the charging unit must end closer to the unit selected as the target of the charge, and must end in base to base contact with the target unit if possible and in unit coherency. closer can be you started 6" from the target unit end you end up 4" away to the right for example on an objective or withing range of a pile in of another unit if you wish. There are many sneaky tricks.

but isnt the first few (who went onto the objective) able to base with the scouts? then they must, right? the rest whom aren't able to base can move freely in the general charge direction no?

@@mervintan1996 I think if I remember back I rolled low and was below the number I needed to base as the Khorne Bes were in the way.

Characters don't count towards the wound total for determining if a unit qualifies for Cull.

@@VanguardTactics regardless I don’t believe the model can be inside the walls. But I guess you guys will keep on doing cheeky stuff. A while back I had something on one of your videos about you using a single unit to do perform actions on two objectives simultaneously. You argued that you weren’t being cheeky and that it was intended to work that way. In pariah they clarified that wasn’t the intent and I noticed our comments were deleted. Keep on doing borderline cheating stuff pal.
