You definitely need to go to an SPN convention! I went to my 1st one 10 years ago and haven't stopped. Got another one in September (pandemic permitting). They've all been in Birmingham UK.

Just found your reactions yesterday and they are awesome - it was watching con videos on KZbin that made me decide to go to my first SPN convention in 2013... fast-forward to 2020, and I've been to over 20 cons in the US, UK and Italy :). Creation Entertainment, the company that runs the US conventions, did hold a UK convention at the Birmingham NEC in May 2018 (which the clip in the video is from), however, they've said aren't planning to hold any more in the UK - I think it just wasn't logistically or financially feasible for them to continue. Rogue Events held SPN conventions in the UK for almost 10 years (some of them with J2 - in fact, the first ever Supernatural convention was in Coventry in 2009... it was Jensen's first con), but they went bust a couple of years ago due to being in debt. Starfury conventions took over the UK SPN cons in 2018, however, they cannot afford to bring J2 over because their appearance fees are too high and the con organiser wants to keep the ticket prices reasonable (the next one was supposed to be in Oct 2020, but they've just postponed it to sometime in 2021). There were also two JIBCon conventions (with J2) scheduled in Rome in December 2020 (one was already planned for December and the other was postponed from May because of the virus), however, they have just announced today that they will be moving them to Spring and Autumn 2021 because of Covid (no actual dates have been announced yet). P.S. although bumbags are still made, I haven't worn one since I was a kid in the early 90s - they were very 80s/early 90s fashion...they're small bags that are designed to strap around your waist and sit just above your bum, hence the name. From a quick Google search it seems that the fashion now is to wear them over one shoulder instead!

Coventry is where I'm from! Ahhh my youth clearly made me less perceptive of things going on around me! I know about the "man bags" is what they call them here in Cov over the shoulder, hence why I didn't know what a bumbag was haha!

@@CabalisticSpecies Oh cool :). Makes sense about the bumbags. I just realised I got it wrong - the Coventry convention was in 2007, not 2009. It was a Smallville/SPN convention, which Jensen attended, but Jared had to cancel due to making a movie. Jensen brought his musician friend Jason (Manns) along for moral support and they sang together a bit. Although Jason is not an actor, his music was used in an episode of the show (4x01), and he has been around since the first ever con, so he is now invited to a lot of the cons as a panelist/musical guest himself.

You’re British how can you not know Bumbag!! Basically we call bumbag what they call fanny pack. So the small bag hikers, tourists etc attach around their waist to keep money, snacks etc. There are so many good convention videos to watch, that Las Vegas one is so funny to watch the whole way through they were on fire that day. Like you I would like to do a convention, I’m hoping maybe next year but Covid has obviously put everything back.

@@CabalisticSpecies Most J / M panels are jibcon. And here Jensen always has about 2.5 to 3 ‰ of alcohol. Why, all SPN fans know that. It is ideal to choose a panel, that is not in Rome

oh I just hear where you’re from😂 yes there’s UKcon and it’s still happening and we also got JIB 11 & 12 coming up, they take place in rome. I attend JIB12 and I know that there are still passes available, it takes place in December this year (if they won’t postpone it bc of Corona)
