This is the company I started with when first getting involved in life insurance. Researching further to ensure I was with a quality product, I found you a few years ago and left soon after.

In your IUL example where you said “if the rates in the general fund” go to 6%. Well if the rates go to 6% I could just link 100% to the fixed account and earn whatever that is giving me right? Like 4 or 5% or whatever the insurance company has it set at. Once again you tried but a smart person would take the guarantee of the fixed over the uncertainty of the S&P.

Once again, you can do that... but this iul performance will be crap based on doing that. The fees keep going up and compound against you. Doing the guaranteed rate is virtually a certain way to get worse performance than the alternate rate, even.

@@LIFE180 you realize that whole life is the most expensive type of insurance a person can buy right?? And again if someone allocated to the fixed account assuming interest rates were up and the fixed account was raised to 5% then someone who knows what they are doing won’t stay in the fixed account year after year. The problem is you talk with a certainty that the caps will go down to 2%. Is it possible sure if it’s written in the contract but is it likely for every last policy out there that has the possibility of the cap going that low no. Like I told another guy you saying the caps will go down is as good as me saying that over the next 25 years IRA’s and 401k’s will be down in excess of 20% or more at least 18 of those 25 years which would result in terrible rate of return. Is that scenario possible absolutely… is it likely??? Probably not. That’s the only problem I have with your analysis of IUL. I watched your video with Samuels and I couldn’t argue his points cause he talked about what IUL is but he didn’t speak with any certainty of what the product would do cause we don’t know until it plays out. If a person over the life of an IUL gets 7 or 8% return they won. You cannot say that outcome is not possible either it could certainly happen I’m not saying IUL is gonna average 13 and 14% sure in a really good year a person may get that but to get 7 or 8% then you won. Again it comes back to structure.

@@TheOpinionSports you realize that the argument of whole life being the most expensive insurance is inaccurate? Whole life is fixed and guaranteed insurance. The cost of IUL changes every year as ART and the NAR. If you don't understand Bobby's arguments, you should subscribe and study his stuff. The real problem is sales people try to make IUL seem like an extremely simple and straightforward product when it is everything BUT that.

@@TheOpinionSports once you realize that index performance really has little to do with IUL policy performance, then you will understand.
@TheOpinionSports2 жыл бұрын
@@LIFE180 sure index performance has little to do with policy performance. It comes back to policy structure. How about this let’s do research on as many IUL products as we can even the ones that are no longer being sold and let see how far the caps and spreads have been lowered from the original and participation rates. I’ll do my research when I have time and if you want you can compile your evidence to see where we are at.

Hello, sir. You told me to email you a copy of my IUL to get your opinion on it. How often do you check your emails? I appreciate your insight and videos, and would love your help in making my next move on maybe cancelling my IUL (depending on your input) and starting a WL policy

Just looked for it and couldn't find it. Re-email me to move to the top of inbox? Sorry for the confusion. I literally get hundreds of emails per day

Would love for you or a viewer to show us examples of the worse case scenarios meaning a true actual case where the insurance company exercised all the cap, spread etc options in an oil… otherwise your entire video feels like pure speculation and fear mongering

Worst case hasn’t happened. That’s not ever what I am saying will happen. It doesn’t take that for these policies to be a dumpster fire. Look up the #IULchallenge
