The 2007 video of 3-man onyxia is a different story, they used TBC talents, also they had full t3, this seems like a legit world first for actual classic wow, nicely done!

That's also because in vanilla not much thought was put into stacking so many different world buffs. T2 geared players with all the buffs they have on is even stronger than someone in T3 without them. Definitely a lot of prep was put into this. Looks like they even have one of the Un'goro buffs and even the UBRS fire resist buff.

@@markarato8034 Healers mana out because of how many people they have to heal, since the fireball has an AoE. Less people, means less get hit with each fireball and you only have to heal 1 person per fireball rather than 5. I prefer to 10-15 man Ony for a consistent run, any more people and the chance of someone fucking up or healers going oom increases.

In vanilla maybe, but in classic re-release it was a massive alliance preference, due to people stuck in the meta because of the weapon skill racial on human and intellect racial on gnomes for PvE and to a lesser extent PvP. Orcs for stun resist and Undead for fear/charm/mind control cleanse were top for PvP until racials on both sides were changed up a couple expansions later.

In 2019 classic, I raided with a group that had almost all the “meme” specs. We had a ele shaman, an Enh shaman, a boomkin, and of course a shadow priest. IMO, the ele and boomkin were not very helpful, but the Enh and SP absolutely pulled their weight during the raid. The SP even eventually tanked Vek’lor in AQ (or Vek’nilash, whichever is the caster). Stop trying to pug and join a guild that recognizes player over class.

You need to be able to bring her down in phase 2. You need ranged and likely physical because a caster dps isn’t going to be able to bring her down, maybe a warlock since life tap. That’s the only other choice really. If phase 2 didn’t exist then they could have 2 manned it.

No it isn't Because of one reason: We don't have Paladins yet on Horde. And the whole reason this is possible is due to a talent that refunds the Mana if a certain heal spell I think Flash of Light gets a critical heal/strike if you have 5 points into it. I don't think Shamans have anything like that plus they would have to stack so much MP5 and + healing to make everything stronger. But it's not that possible sadly :( so the answer is no you can't do it on Horde until BC. But by then who would be doing Onyxia except from 60 twinks
