I got to play with the new cards a little early, and decided to try out Battlecry shaman w/ the Old Gods to see if I could get a double activation off. The deck was surprisingly good!

Interesting, at 2:01 the swipe casts twice, targeting the same minion even though it's already received enough damage to kill it. This is different than the "Double Time" treasure in the brawl mode, which casts, processes deaths, then recasts and selects a still-living target. It makes sense that it would be this way based on the text of the card, just noticing it because it may trip some people up.

It's not obvious from the text for sure, but targeted effects that are doubled don't occur in two separate phases, whereas doubled effects with text like "targets chosen randomly" do.

It’s the same thing for effects like double Gluttonous Ooze. Idk if it works for harrison though, but assume it would.

It's actualy pretty consistent since it doesnt specify it being a random target, for example, the double battlecry heropower featured in this video also doesnt change the target of a doubled elven archer.

@@Gorbgorbenson harrison will only draw once, but it's cuz weapons are weird. Other weird examples: blade of c'thun will buff c'thun twice if the battlecry is doubled. Acolyte of Pain will draw if damaged twice, even if the first damage killed it.

I got smacked yesterday by Firebat three times in a row, but at least I managed to 2-1 Thijs and to beat RDU and Regis; it was a fun day. Strange feel to be the one getting destroyed twice in a Firebat video, but still a weird pleasure!

Zeph gave him exactly what he wanted for less mana, shadow word ruin would have killed the 2 5 attack guys for 4 mana, betrayal did the same thing for 2 mana less lol.

I don't understand why Zeph would offer you Sorc Apprentice over Flare when you have 1 spell in your hand. The other 2 I can understand since it is +4/+4 and "best 2 drop", but Zeph REALLY should offer flare if your opponent only has stealth minions.

Listen.. This will be good for control cthun deck. It's not rogue, because rogue doesn't even care to go to turn 10 at any game, they either win or lose before that turn.. The control cthun deck will be.. *wait for it *Quest Warlock (full of spell)* You build your entire deck full of spell. Clear everything with your spell, heal with spell, shuffling through your deck with plot twist to get that cthun spell.. Then you tutor cthun with the 4 mana spell draw minion. And play the cthun! You might not win the game instantly, so you play raise dead to get more cthun and body of cthun, then drop the cthun again. Your opponent clear it, then you raise dead again and cthun them again! Who knows you can play the cthun up to 4 times. Okay I know its not practical, but it's worth trying just for the playstyle : Clear clear shuffling shuffling bam bam.

And if you really want to win with your cthun, you can modify it to have polkelt and vargoth. Vargoth to boost the draw or cthun. Polkelt plus hero power to have zero mana cthun or zero mana nether. So as long as you dont play against armor class, you (almost) guaranteed win after your cthun ready.

I think new cthun is pretty cool and stronger, but the og is more my flavor. To me it’s more fun to play a bunch of cards that effect your cthun rather than just 4. Idk though since I haven’t played with it yet, but that’s my initial intention. Yogg is closer to that.
