Being a sim racer I'm going to break it down for driving with different controllers Keyboard, you get very quick responses to steering input but lack fine control, on a simple driving game like gta its not really an issue, but try to drive in assetto corsa with a keyboard, next to impossible Controller/game pad, makes fine movements a fair bit easier but you lose some steering response compared to keyboard but it's all around better and more controllable Wheel, well this isn't really relevant to gta but steering wheels are definitely superior driving Controller for racing games in every single sense imaginable.

I tried Forza Horizon 2, it was an awful experience. Some people can do console well, some can do M/KB well. At no point do you need throttle control in a racing game, that's just a gimmick, you already have braking for the corners. It didn't help that it had motion blur that made the visual experience also terrible and 30fps lock, making finer control difficult. Console users have been saying racing is so much better with an xbox or ps controller before 60fps in consoles was a thing, so it's not that now it's better because some games have 60fps. I will never understand, even if I try.

Watched a little bit of this live at the time before bed, went back to watch the rest on the VOD and now I guess I've watched it again on the video too xD but yeah, it was still quite entertaining seeing the struggle with that PS5 controller when you're used to mainly keyboard and mouse, but in my case I've played GTA games mostly on controller, especially GTA V & GTA Online from Xbox 360 through to Xbox One and next Xbox Series X too! I'd usually play PC GTA on controller too, but the cable started disconnecting and now I've basically had no other option but to play on keyboard & mouse, which I've sorta done before, but in a way I struggle with certain aspects like you did here!😂👍

hey dark, just wanted to mention that gta 5 for ps5 and the new xbox doesn’t actually have raytracing, they call it that but they just up the flare (i think, they do something i kinda forgot xD) on some objects, you can simpky confirm this by having a chrome car and standing next to it. You should (with raytracing) see your own reflection, but you can’t

You can't see your reflection in the ray tracing version of minecraft either, that doesn't really prove that the textures in next-gen GTA didn't have any of the meshes required for Ray Tracing. Even though by the looks of it, it doesn't seem like it does have ray tracing, just a hell load of bloom and over saturation to cover it up.

I forget my birthday too. I only found out because my brother pointed it out to me. I think it's more common if you either live alone or stop caring due to how weird a "birthday" is. Every year, you're let's say 1.3% closer to death. So you're celebrating being closer to dying of old age, else you wouldn't celebrate the year they are, but what they did that year. If it wasn't "Happy being-closer-to-dying-of-old-age day!" Then they wouldn't specifically go for the age. It would be Accomplishment Day. "This year you saved 3 companies from being robbed, happy Accomplishment Day!"

Dude I can relate at the beginning with the controller issues. Today I bought a MSI one (based on an Xbox layout) after like 15 years of playing on PC with keyboard and mouse. It felt so weird to use it. Last time I used one was on a PS1. It took like an hour or two to get used to it again. I bought it for THPS1+2, tried it on a couple of other games. Conclusion: I will use the controller for THPS, maybe some car games, but for shooters, GTA related games I will stick with the keyboard+mouse.

Matt next time try the “Standard FPS 2” controller binds, they’re simply superior. You can run with your phone up and on online you can do the same with the interaction menu
