I'm just wondered for these British Council films brought up from the 30's and the 40's. Evry educational and cultural. I'm learning a lot about UK life in the first half of the 20th. century. Thanks a lot!!! I'm Brazilian but a British culture lover!!

Most people I knew in the 40s were slim same as us children at the time,plenty of energy to play in our bomb site camps.....But also rickets,boils and rotten teeth were common...Seems we were suffering from mild malnutrition without realizing it.

It was already dead. Don't worry, there have been a few trillions more of them come in to existence since then (1941).

no. it's vegital modification. grafting is a common method for propagating plants.
