John Kingsley - Reid, aka Richard Burton....seriously though, the problem is that certain ethnic minorities no longer wish to integrate, therein lies the problems that have never been addressed. Roy Jenkins MP espoused the notion of allowing immigrants - meaning Indians and Pakistanis to publicly practice their cultures, religions, customs and ways of dress paying no heed to the UK nor its own secular culture. The more that was allowed, its allowed things to get to where they are now. That, and add to the cauldron unchecked, unfettered mass immigration to the point where its nearing a million a year, at the detriment of the indigenous populace and what do you have - two divided communities. Apparently, the Sikhs, Hindus and most certainly other Ethnic groups here, integrate, respect the UK, or practice their cultures privately and quietly. But not other, large, ethnic groups. This feeds the anger and underlying race hatred within the UK populace. Just look at things now. Bradford, Birmingham, Southhall, vast swathes of the North, where's the integration and harmony? No, parallel communities exist of Whites and so-called Asians. Indians and Pakistanis in particular act like 'Asian' just means them, it does not. And most prescient of all, was, that Enoch Powell did indeed predict what was to come. If Politicians turn a blind eye to the real issues facing this Nation, including mass migration, the problems we face, including racialism come to the fore and eventually the tinder box blows off. Which is is doing now. I say all this as a 46 year old son of a Sri Lankan. Not some stereotypical 'racialist' but a realist. A pragmatist. Powells words should not have been derided and reviled. He foresaw what was to come and that it now has come. We could have had harmony, but that wasn't to be because allowing mass immigration from certain climes with persons who clearly do not want to integrate nor respect, therein the problem exists - and the Politicians have done nothing to address it.
