I think on the 37:00 sub mission and the follow up Soviet one actually explains why Malashenko, from an ordinary socialist slowly decends into the madman he is when their battalion entered Seattle. In the ending cutscene Bannon out of his ordinary incompetence his tanks gunned the soviet civilians down thinking they're combatants. Which amongst them were Malashenko's wife and daughter

i still play this game even in 2023-20?? along with other old rts like starcraft, generals, red alert 2, etc. out of any strategy game i'd say this is my number 1 favorite because of the story and realism. you have real life weaponries in this game and is based on alternative history or what would have happen if scenario. the graphics, the sound, the atmosphere were also well made. with a good headphone it would make you feel like your in a real life battle zone. i was in my late teen years when i played this now in my mid 30s, i'd still be playing this for as long as i live. just hoping we'd get a sequel or at least a remaster this decade.

the wonky physics may very well be because of a too high framerate, this happens in a lot of game with unlocked fps and physics, enable vsync or cap the fps.

Never knew that. But even so, makes the game even more fun when it is seen and breaks the serious character of battle.
