World Longest Dam| Hirakud Dam| Meisum Vlog

Hirakud Dam is the world longest earthen Dam in the world. The construction was started in 1947 and it was completed in 1953 and it was formally inuagurated by the Prime Minister of India- Jawaharlal Nehru in 1957. The total length of the dam is 4.8 Kms and the total length of the reservior is 55kms. It is about 15 kms away from Sambalpur town. Come follow me as i take you to Hirakud Dam.
