The Japanese Sanxian is meticulously built. I hv an used one at home but don't know to play. I bought it in the flea market. It is made up of three parts coupled together, the drum and two neck pieces. The joints are very tight that you can't easily realize there is a seam. It is lovely. The sad thing is I paid too much for it. 😢
