This is LITERALLY a group of some of the BEST (if not THE best) ensembles in the world. This was life changing to say the LEAST

This beautiful and moving piece by Jacob has a tendency to bring on a tear or two. This performance triggered a waterfall. How wonderful to have Jacob in the chorus and Susie Collier present as well. I can only imagine the energy in the room. Congratulations to Mr. Ferdinand and all the singers.

The resolution on "Take me " (to C) is one of the greatest things I have ever heard. And the added vibrato at the end lifts the aural experience to the highest.

The audience of professional choristers & directors knew *exactly* what they had just heard.

I need to hear this song live! I am in awe of the genius that lives in both of these men musically. I would love to watch their creative process in action. Jacob Collier, this is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard. Excellent!

To be in the room where it happened... incomparable!

My wife actually attended the ACDA Convention in Cincinnati, at which the Jason Max Ferdinand singers performed on 2 different evenings. However, Jacob Collier only came on one of the evenings, and it was the one that my wife did attend.

That's Jacob's mother that Ferdinand acknowledges at 13:49! She's an accomplished violinist!

And prof and director... And it seems she did the perfect thing with Jacob by simply putting him in his room with a bunch of instruments and letting him play. I'm sure she helped with one thing or another along the way, but he says she mostly just encouraged him to explore and follow his curiosity. Powerful lesson...

I love this choir! The richness of the harmonies. Many of them have sung for the legendary Oakwood Aeolians. The audience choir, conducted by Jacob, sounded amazing!

Yes, I think he sings the bass part. You can hear it in a version where they're rehearsing in a studio.

When the audience choir is made up of choir directors….. was this the first public performance of World O World? Quite the applause.

They sounded great, didn't they? But I've actually never heard any of his audience choirs sound anything but beautiful. Occassionally he's tuned a section up a bit, but it's amazing how good his audiences pretty much always sound.
