World Oceans Day 2018

In Celebration of World Oceans Day, the Robert Bateman Centre, in partnership with the Steamship Terminal hosted a free mural painting demonstration and nature sketch at the inner harbour with World renowned marine wildlife mural artist, Robert Wyland.
Partners and speakers included Songhees Nation Leaders, Oceans plastic expert, Professor Calvin Sandborn, The Surfrider Foundation, Eagle Wing Tours, V2V and Oceanwise.
The public has a unique opportunity to bid on Wyland's piece, "Orca Bliss" AND a giclee "Sea Light Below" in an online auction that runs until 11:59pm on July 1st, 2018, Canada Day.
Proceeds will be shared between the Wyland Foundation, The Bateman Foundation & Eagle Wing Tours Seabin Project.
