World of Color Christmas Light Show 2018 - Burkitt Place

This is our 5th year using Light-O-Rama RGB lights and controllers. Our display had 32 incandescent channels in 2013, and now has 5760 RGB channels. I am a college student studying mechanical engineering with a minor in business hoping to be an imagineer for Walt Disney co. some day. When the display was first built, we used wood, metal, a 3-D printer, and a laser cutting machine to custom build frames, light holders, roof outlines, and so on. I used AutoCAD and Inventor to draw out the designs and wiring plans. Hope you enjoy the show!

Very well done! I really enjoyed the combination of effects, props, custom soundtrack, and all. Great balance in the sequences not trying to have every light on all the time :) Cool combination of the floodlights on the poles for better coverage and the up-facing lights along the base of the house. Next time you have things up, take some behind the scenes video to share. Would be neat to see all that went into this! Thanks for creating this and thanks for sharing it!!

That's pretty impressive to sequence 24 minutes of music. I especially like that it's not all 100% pixels - some incandescents, some RGB floods, some special effects cans, nice! Sucks that one piece of strip above the garage was misbehaving, but things break, what can you do? :)

The display includes projectors, black lights, laser machines, incandescent lighting, light-o-rama dumb ribbons and pixels, light-o-rama cosmic pixels and ribbons. We also used tools such as a laser cutting machine, 3-D printing, AutoCAD, Inventor, wood, metal frames, clamps and so much more! I couldn't tell you how much extensions we used, it was a lot!
