World of Disney Store opened on July 12, 2012 with more than 1,400m² of retail space. World of Disney is the third store of its kind to open at a Disney park after Florida and California. There is currently four World of Disney stores. The first opened in 1996 in Disney Springs at the Walt Disney Resort, Florida. In January 2001, with the opening of the Downton Disney District of Disneyland Resort in California, a second store opened. This was followed by the Disneyland Paris opening in 2012 and the fourth flagship store opening in the Disney town area of Shanghai Disney Resort in 2016.
Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort in Chessy, France, 32 km (20 miles) east of Paris. It consists of two theme parks, 6 Disney Resort hotels, Disney Nature Resorts, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex and a golf course.
Disneyland Paris celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2022, with celebrations starting 6th March. A brand new area opened 20th July 2022 from the Marvel Universe known as Marvel Avengers Campus.
