I've found a way to turn this fight into a complete and utter joke. Use Two Vampire Primes and two Werebats. Once you've unlocked their Dark Resistance abilities to the point that you absorb the Dark element, nearly all of the boss' attacks will *heal* you. From there, the only thing you need to worry about is confusion and Mega Flare Cannon. But even then, as long as you can avoid the status ailments, you've really got nothing major to worry about.
@nightstar49125 жыл бұрын
While the countdown for mega flare canon is going down he takes a lot of damage from lightning/electric spells and items also make sure you have the spell that heals both Reynn and Lann cause that will help out a lot Shiva is also a bad large type stack for the fight considering brandelis has that fire type spell
@optimaltt6070 Жыл бұрын
@@gamester512 You can use Confusion resistance Mirajewels to cover that issue too. Megaflare is just a simple Mega Mirage summon away from being utterly trivialized.

@@kylepgames3541 OWA is painfully overrated. It's good, but 'Legendary', really? Not even close. It didn't suit the final boss at all. No emotional appeal, no reflection of the journey's end, no nothing. None of the things that make a final boss theme good are there. All OWA tells you is "oooh! Look how scary and strong this guy is!". As if you haven't faced scary and strong foes before that point? Please.

This battle was amazing for me, I had this Behemonster that I'd raised since it was a Babyhemoth when I first captured the thing in the Ice Region. "Chomp" was this powerhouse of a revenge bomber, tanking damage so I could deal immense damage back with his Revenge Blast attack. So I'm fighting Exnine Bahamut and decide now was the time to bring out Chomp with full AP to revenge bomb, downside is that the first turn he was out Bahamut used this attack which inflicted 3 debuffs, one of which was silence so I could no longer use the attack. Turns pass by and I just use the standard attacks and defend hoping it wears off, with a mere 1000 HP left (he would of perished the next time Bahamut attacked) he snaps out of silence and I use the Revenge Blast dealing a whopping 21,000 Damage (the most he'd ever done up to this point) AND dealing the finishing blow to Bahamut! Ah god, such a fantastic boss fight, with this theme to go along with it.

So Brandelis is Exnine Bahamut... hence Bahamut Federation Does that mean the other Exnine Knights are Exnine Summons?... IE is the next one gonna be Exnine Odin? Exnine Shiva? Exnine Alexander
@fianle8 жыл бұрын
All of the exnine knights were created with an esper in the mix. Brandelis was one of the most powerful bahamuts before he became one of the knights. I'm not sure if it was stated in the game which espers were used in the mix for Segwarides, Pellinore, or that Carbuncle.
@fianle8 жыл бұрын
Alkahest Oh, I wasn't saying you were wrong. I don't even know what those espers look like since it has been awhile since I played 6 lol. Just that after completing the game and reading the "Who's Who" manual I don't recall it being stated which espers were used to create Pellinore, Segwarides, or the other knight. Brandelis is the only one who had all of their info revealed.

Well according to Bahamut (aka. Tiababylo) that you have, he says he used to be rivals with a Bahamut Brandelis. However, Ex9 Knights are individuals who are formed by combining Esper, Human and Extraverse god. However, the matter of fact is that he himself was sealed at the top of Crystal Tower until the twins released the seal. Thus it was Segrawides who created the Bahmutian Federation. But yeah, this story takes funnily enough pretty grim turn making protagonists who summoned world-destroying existence and got their mother and father killed, and their adopted sister sealed. That's not even mentioning what Segrades and Pellinore managed to get done in the 100 years the twins were gone. Hell, that isn't even mentioning the 4th Exnine knight Ywain who possessed the Carbunkle and created illusions to manipulate the Twins into opening the Gate. Avoiding the doomed world memories that the twins have.

I found this final boss pretty easy if you either use the spell stones, besides fire ones since he absorbs them, or you use the mega mirages. Behemoth especially is good for most any fight, even this guy. Defend with Behemoth until his health is down at least halfway or so, then keep using revenge blast if you aren't silenced or anything, and Behemoth will do about 10k dmg each time.
