I love that you put the note with what color you are using on the page.

Your videos are so beautiful and helpful. World of Color is my favorite coloring book. The Christmas one is my next favorite. My Posca pen ran out of ink. No big deal! I grabbed my 6 year old granddaughter’s DT black marker ( comes in a set with two size tips). Goes on so smoothly and the black matched the Posca black.

Julie, it's gorgeous! I need to get some black poscas and I am getting the big set of prismas for Christmas. When you need to do a page in parts it's no problem, just to let you know. I think anything more than 40 min is very hard to upload it seems.

Yes exactly... when it goes over 45 minutes it takes ages to upload and then I split up 😊

Hi Julie...absolutely adore your colour palette and techniques. ..Any tips to prevent the paper from curling up after the black outline on the outside of the ring? I used the posca marker with an 8mm tip for these large areas but unfortunately the edges are curled up and paper very stiff. Also it shows stroke lines...xxx Sunflower BB

I've often found myself marveling at how you manage to use the white to blend without transferring color when I don't see you clean the tip of the white pencil when moving from one area to the next. I have managed to muddy a few pictures by transferring color because I tried to do that. Also, I wonder if you had to practice a lot and train your brain to lighten your pressure as you move away from the edges. I constantly have to remind myself to lighten my pressure and I think I'm finally improving a little bit, but it's taken me ages. Maybe I'm stressing and just not relaxed when I color...which should NOT be the case. I think I may have learned more from watching you color using the simplest techniques than I have watching a lot of other colorists using more complex techniques. I still have to focus and think. Otherwise, I'll press down to hard and wont be able to get a decent blend/fade. I'm fascinated watching you. So glad I found your channel. I watch and rewatch a lot of your videos and have been doing so for a year or so now. Thank you for your time and the effort you put into making such lovely videos. 🙂❤

Shading and blending is very hard to explain... it’s really about feeling it... I am coloring for about 11 years now so I had a lot practice but I made a very easy video on how to practice shading and give less or more pressure, really easy... a few exercises you can do to grow the feeling with the pencil I most of the time give a lot of pressure but when going from one color in another you need to lighten your pressure and maybe this very easy video can help you a bit... Good luck and keep enjoying and relaxing... never worry about it... ❤️❤️

@@Juliespassionforcoloring Thanks Julie! I think I've actually watched that video a few times. Is it the one where you are shading different shapes? It really is a good video and I'm pretty sure it was after watching that particular video when I started seeing a bit of improvement and getting a better understanding of how to blend and shade. I often thought I will just never be a good colorist, but I don't let those kind of negative thoughts keep me down for long. I keep trying and practicing and I am seeing some improvement. It's just slow. I've gotten so frustrated and impatient a few times, I had to step away from coloring for a while (usually weeks or months), but I want to improve so much, I always come back and I also realized that if I let myself be defeated and just quit, I can't possibly do better, so I'm determined to just keep at it. I will take smaller breaks now than I did before and keep practicing! You truly are an amazing colorist and I can honestly say that some of my best work has been pictures I did following along with your videos. Your color choices are always beautiful too. Your pictures are beautifully harmonious and stunning! 10/10! Thank you again!
