When the instruments kick in, it's so calm and heavenly. It makes me feel like this was something all the kids who killed themselves thought was a salvation, then the bassline and the crying tones at the end just break it down, much in the way you have to break free of its grasp on your mind

Something to keep in mind is the Threat Level. Running from enemies and certain events can increase the Threat Level, and the higher it gets, the more dangerous that location will get. Each location has its own Threat Level, and here's the levels and effects in order from least to most dangerous. Safe: No effects. Low: Skill checks have a -1 modifier. *Dangerous:* Skill checks have a -1 modifier, and Stamina/Reason penalties (both event and combat) are increased. *DOOMED:* Skill checks have a *-2* modifier, Stamina/Reason penalties are increased, and the DOOM penalty for investigating this location is increased by 1.

God, I adore the music in this one. I didn't get to the true ending of this mystery yet, but knowing it's about something that drives people to suicide...the music fits being so sad.

The true ending doesn't even really feel like a victory. But then again, do most of the endings for the mysteries in this game feel like we really won? Even when we stop the Old God, we're just delaying humanity's eventual destruction in the not so distant future...
