WORLD OF HOSPITALITY EXPO BENGALURU 2024

On June 13, 2024, World of Hospitality Expo was inaugurated by Shri K H Muniyappa, Hon’ble Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Government of Karnataka. The Agriculture minister joined him for the state government along with senior professionals in the hospitality industry. The exhibition brought over 250 brands under one roof at Palace Grounds, Tripura Vaisini in Bengaluru. At the inaugural session of the event, Muniyappa talked about the importance of the Hospitality industry. He said, “It is part and parcel of the work which allows the whole world to welcome people to their homes.” He discussed the challenges of fast food which is creating an adverse impact on human beings. As per him, we are losing the natural aspects of food that are more important for our nutrition and health due to the fast food approach. While youth is the group that would take forward the country is engulfed in fast food which he did not approve of.
