I was there! I was so excited to finally see a good World of Outlaws race at Williams Grove. I thought Logan Schuchart was going to do it for the hometown fans, but congrats to Donny Schatz, you guys were fast all night! Thank you Williams Grove and all the fans for making the National Open a memorable one.🏁😎

Although Donny Schatz won. I honestly prefer to see Larson stay on dirt. He’s way more competitive there and is an extremely skilled dirt driver than a NASCAR driver. One of the best dirt drivers on track!

Sprint car fans were saying Donny Schatz would not win any more races this year but some how he has won 5 races this year. The competition has been great in Sprint car racing. There are guys saying Ford engines don't have what it takes to compete against chevrolet but right there tells you and you now see it which you have a great driver to back it up.
@429thunderjet24 жыл бұрын
Well, I don't know if there is even one stock GM or Ford part on any of those engines, the basic designs yes. But I kinda remember some guy named Blaney? and a few others
@Miatacrosser4 жыл бұрын
@@429thunderjet2 Davis Jr. in '89. Actually that was a good engine. I wonder if this current design shares any of the old engine. I last saw Casey Luna's #10 back in '95 maybe...been a long time

@@Miatacrosser yup I remember him as well. Think those old engines used Cleveland style heads. I don't think the rules don't allow canted valve heads anymore, so they are using highly modified inline valve Windsor style heads with extra head bolts added.

World Of Outlaws and most other forms of Motorsports need to be viewed In Person. Most people do not like to see men (and a very few women) drive around a racetrack. Most people would rather see a buncha guys playing with their balls.

Kyle Larson is so FCKNG fun to watch... he reminds me of Shane Scott from Chico, Ca. He'd either win the A Main or go home in a pile

That son of a gun is amazing !! We never counted Kyle out of a race for a win. Unless he wadded it up. We've been puttin' some hella shoes out east. Rico, Eliason, Thorson, Kofoid, Macedo and so on. 🏄🏁 Cali 💪✌
@jeffbowling88914 жыл бұрын
Are you guys seeing these all out throttle approaches by Larson, starting about the 4 minute mark entering one end of the track, then steady on the other. Utter insanity. A couple more laps equals Larson Winner. Schatz being way too cautious in traffic about became "his problem" if another lap or two because we all know Larson will "not" be cautious in traffic and is where he separates himself from the majority of these racers.

I figured Larson just sat back most of the race saving that right rear for a charge. He sure is fun to watch as are the the other top 5 drivers. Kyle just has a flare for the dramatic and it sure is fun to watch. They need to put this stuff on a national station for TV. NASCAR is becoming NAPCAR with the cookie cutter cars.
