Surprise surprise, that ARL was a deep red player. Ammoracked or not, it must have been driven by a baboon, otherwise I can't justify all those missed shots and that TK. Grats to the FV, but he got extremely lucky to meet such a bad player in such a crucial moment of the battle.

***** It's not really OP, it's just very good. It's main weaknesses are bad gun depression, a reload that takes forever and a day, and bad armour for a heavy. Obviously it's a dangerous tank despite these but it's not that difficult to deal with in most situations.

what i really hate about the Fv304 is that when the enemy has one in combination with a really big hard hitting one. the Fv cant really do much damage to you but it can track you and keep you pinned while for example a hummel is preparing his shot on you.

Or if he tracks you, and you have no repair skill... you are dead... he does blinds in 10 seconds and shots how many is needed to get your ass, and.. the best tactic is to get your friends in a platoon and all take FV arty.. and do the earlier tactic i said in 3

This almost reminds me of a game with my StuG III that I had ages and AGES ago, back when artillery only went to tier eight...that game, I also received a Kolobanov's and a Radley-Walters medal...that was my ace tanker badge right there. Of course, I can't tell you how much damage I did, since I didn't know of any damage counter mods, and the game didn't even record damage anyway...I had only been playing since 8.4, anyway. Carried that team out of pure frustration at having to face down another loss, but that melted quickly into tension, and then it was like Christmas, getting an absolutely beast result, and I was still a n00b...I still smile at that now. :)

To be honest, the fv304 is borderline op. Just to clarify what i mean by it, tanks can be rated by five traits: armour, damage, mobility, rate of fire, stealth. For game purpose no tank should excel in more then 3 traits (compared to its peers) or it becomes unbalanced. While the fv304 lack armour (thou no arty has armour) its rate of fire, mobility and damage is top notch. "But but it only has half the alpha of a hummel" you say, so how can the damage be excellent? The aim time, the biggest drawback of arty is the time it takes to aim but the fv304 is fully aimed in 4 seconds! However I said that is was borderline op not op since its not without faults, the range is one. I do like the idea of quick firing low alpha artillery as I believe that it would be better for the game then the 1 shot a minute guns we see now. I love the fv304 and I love to hate it with a passion. Go britts!

I've done a Kolobanov in my Lorraine 155-50, but I wasn't quite brazen enough to try to fight them off. It was defense and so I timed it out using the French run away method.

Great game play! Great tank! I managed to do 3, 225 damage, win Gores medal, gain Mastery and top gun with this great lil tank on the 360. Speed and maneuverability makes you able to run circles round the enemy. The gun isn't exactly a derp cannon but all other aspects of this tank make it a derp tank.

I really miss the old Bert. Back then it was basically an ELC AMX with indirect fire mode. Then they hit it hard with the nerf bat three or four times. Now it's biggern' a Sherman and can just about turn. It can still be good, but it ain't the same.

Great video.I have got just over 200 games in this. Really good fun and I also have been on the receiving end of it, so i know how it feels to be tracked and nibbled to death. I can out run scouts a lot of the time or do just what Fabunil did and go hunting arty or td's. Even won a few games as well.

Having suffered from heavy lag in many games, I bet that ARL44 was having a mother of all lags, with a ping way over 100 ms - it seems small, but trust me, it's enough to miss those shots on the FV304 and hit the StugIII instead. Also explains the apparent lack of reaction to being out-manoeuvred, he just couldn't react fast enough as he didn't see the correct movement of the FV304. Still, credit to the FV304 for his awesome game.

I was in losing streak in my IS3A rental and I replaced fire extinguishers with combat ration/premium consumable ,man ,fv 304 burned down me to around enemy is3A .That shot was game changing shot because I was the only tier8 heavies in that game.

Tomasz Antochów Yes it would be stupid actually :D Elc can rotate 3 times as fast as FV and has much longer sight range. Also elc can pen most things from the front while FV has to hit the top or rear armor to do good dmg.

It would. Fabunil on this replay had to play it like ELC because he had no other choice and because he was alone against donkey tank drivers and arty. You can't pull off stuff like that in your average match. You don't have enough maneuverability.

Depending on the situation , you could play it like the elc , but it wasn't meant for that. You only carry HE shells that have to hit enemy sides or rears while elc amx can actually harm the enemy shooting anywhere. I had my rolls when i actually chased HTs in my fv304 , but only because HTs were too busy focusing on someone else while completely ignoring me. I usually hang around with HTs and support them when i play this little fucker. I have 385 battles with it but unfortunately only 50,91 % win percentage. There have been however lots of times when i did the most damage in my team, but i couldn't carry the game enough for a victory. Oh ..one more thing : in my opionion , it is better if you have to fight tier 8 tanks like is3 and stuff because they're generally slower and you can track them over and over again and eventually kill them. Playing this in lower tiers can get tricky as many opponents have more than enough speed to reach you and cause you trouble. ELC gets killed in one shot if hit by fv304, so if you manage to hit it while it comes at you, it isn't much of a threat.

Some weeks ago I managed to get a draw alone against a m44, a gw panther, a pz sfl IVc and a panther by taking out the two artys and the sfl and running away from the panther across the whole map. This tank is definetely the most troll tank in the game.

There is nothing wrong with the Map. Look at the date the video was loaded up 2014, the spawn points were changed 2015 I do believe.

+MizutayioGP I'm not sure if the FV304 has enough damage to do that, even on a penetration. (And it will never penetrate the AT-2, 203mm front, 103mm side and rear. The FV304 only has about 50-60mm of pen.) Perhaps you wanted an ammorack?

Well to be honest. My only Kolobanovs medal is with T57 , tier 2 arty. As well as i have one Fadins medal with FT BS, tier 2 arty. Well that was from times when arty was easier to play, and were only thing i could play with and have at least 12 fps.

FV304, the arty that wasnt an actual arty. it is just a shotgun on tracks. Proud of the little monster in my garage. I played the FV to get the missions done to get my T2Light. BTW the ARL must have had huge lag at that time

I Love the FV unless I'm in a tier 8 game. Them the poor pen of the only ammo available is just inadequate. If you had an AP round in those match ups only somehow.... But it would be very OP in the lower tiers with it. Oh well I still feel it is one of the funniest vehicles in the game!! Go Bert !!!!
