Well, a good player can make any tank work, so that hasn't realy anything to do with the tank itself. The ISU-122-2 problem is that it doesn't have anything other than the double barrel. Its camo is medioker at best, it isn't fast, it definitly isn't flexible (no turret + bad gun arc + no gun depression) and its armor is basically non-existent against T8+. It is a great "win more"-tank, which does well at mopping up weakend enemies, but it isn't a good tank to get the enemy into that weakend state in the first place - but thats actually where you win battles. If you want to play this tank as a sniper there are much better tanks for that in terms of camo and firepower. If you want to play it as a frontline brawler however the armor is too bad. And as a support vehicle it just isn't flexible enough.
