I can't belive even now in 2021 T71 still rocks. Many lights like M41 Bulldog,T37,Chaffe,T-50-2,VK 28.01,ELC AMX,RU 251... are not even the close to be as good as they were before but T71 only has worst view range by 10m and worst APCR and HEAT pen. Other stats stayed the same and T71 is fantastic light one of my favourite lights and it's one of the best light tanks tier per tier.

Jesus. This is trigger discipline of a level that is beyond unreal. I cannot in any way sit for half a match without pulling the trigger. Incredible stuff. Planning on getting the T71 and know exactly how to approach this tank now. Nice work.

same here...too trigger happy to play light tanks XD I can not sit still. If i see something, i automatically point at it and click. Which leads to my swift death if im not hidden enough since im spotting.

Nah, ammo-racks are surprisingly common. Most i'd give it is one in ten thousand shots for ammo-racking a leo pta that's on the move while in a bush.

I used that bush this morning in my T-49. Tier V top, so not a lot of spotting damage, but my shiny new Scout Medal is kinda nifty. Spotted 10 tanks and kept em lit for the rest of their lives. Thanks, QuickyBaby!

i'm grinding for t57 heavy tank, and just got the t71. it is an incredible little tank. best scout that i played. cant wait to get it upgraded. I only have the top gun but i;m grinding to get engien and then traks :) you are doing a great job. keep it up!

Look on the map at 10:35 - 10:39. The M41 just roooollled up to the Lowe, you can literally see it stop while it let the reticle shrink a bit...and then boom; the heavy icon just faded away...

I've been interested in the T-71 from the first time I saw it. I skipped the Chaffey (and don't regret it since I know its actual history) and am working toward the 71 via the M-7 (which I am having a ball with). Keep up the excellent work with your WoTs videos I look forward to every one of them.

Great reviews QuickyBaby, I especially learned a lot from your Jagdtiger video. Regarding the T71, great tank indeed, I play mine similar to you. But since the arty nerf it's become a bit harder: - less arties to kill - less spotting damage from team arties - more enemy tanks (TDs!) in the field that can spot and kill you Regards, Liposuction (WoT name)

The opposing bunch of tools should have noticed a treeline with a single downed tree, on a hill, right in the middle of the battlefield offering a commanding view of the area for artillery spotting, before they engaged. If I saw that before the battle commensed I would be obliged to take a shot into the trees. But very well done indeed sir, you have great discipline.

Yea, me too. I had good games with it, not even close to QuickyBaby's game. But the big problem is that irresistible itch I get in my finger on top of the left click when I target some tank. And of course after that the inevitable happens ... my tank is wrecked ... And I just hate this thing. Great game Quicky !! Niiice bush.

It'a collectors tank now and it's a best at tier VII. And it's now called T71 DA. Still has 6 shell autoloader. The pen is worst it's 145mm but now T71 can meet tier V tanks and it can't meet tier X tanks. View range is 390m instead of 400m but 390m is great for tier VII light. Other stats are the same it's one of the best lights tier per tier it's so underrated it's direct competition to the AMX 13 57. I would say it's even better. All you need to do is to unlock all tier VII American tanks.

ELC AMX has almost the exact same camo values as the T71(except a bit less when firing but you shouldn't fire anyways) and having no turret doesn't matter to the passive scouting since a passive scout shouldn't fire unless they get proxy spoted(and just use the "x" button to lock your hull if you want to freely move your mouse). The only bad thing about the ELC as a passive scout is it has only 360 view range but that can be negated with good crew skills and equipments.

I have the 59-16(want the 131)makes a great passive scout it's quick and maneuverable. In low tier battles it can be a light attack scout. However in higher tier battles you should only do passive scouting. Its top gun is an auto loader, you have to aim and hit weak spots or risk bouncing. Battled with the WZ-131 and T71 both are great attack scouts. You can do some serious damage to the heavies in both (131 seems to survive longer though, quick fire single shot gun good pen. and damage no auto)

Based on having played the T71 a reasonable amount I have to agree with you. BUT there's one key point here, random games: do the job that needs doing. In the game QB shows there's one amx 13 90 who commits suicide early on and one other T71 no others that could do the job. That said, for a review of the T71 it'd have been nice to perhaps give a showcase of it's mobility and gun performance when flanking things.

Quicky, your so much better then me stats wise I hesitate to mention it, but when I scout like you are at 7 min mark I hold down the right mouse button to keep the barrel from moving while I am looking around. This is to keep the barrel from swinging around and out of the bushes which I am pretty sure can be spotted. Am I wrong in that? Does a barrel not give one away? I seem to recall having the cannon barrel spotted and spotting others cannon barrel only.

Get on the testserver and take a look at the E-25 (Ger. T7 TD). This thing is crazy. 0.3 accuracy and 1.5 sec. aim time PLUS amazing mobility (26ton tank - 700hp engine) PLUS it's a tiny little tank PLUS amazing rof (20rpm = 2.52 sec reload time) PLUS PLUS PLUS....

Not necessarily.The 3002 D was already in the game so he could have gotten the Indien right from there. The 3001 D is the new tank that comes before it and it can be a blast..

I would say you could. The view range isn't as good, but the same could be said of the other tanks you would be facing compared to what the T71 would face.

Hey. It would be interesting to do a special video guide on good scouting positions on all maps (active and passive). I did not know that position on redshire! Passive scouting is getting harder and harder with the flood of lights in every games.

ELC has a lower profile and with 2 100% camouflage crewmen, you can be unsoptted from 100 meters when well hidden. there is no other tank, that is so UDOish(= Unindetified Driving Object)

You can't se the battle result on replays. What he does is take a screencap of the battle results, or he might have recorded and lifted the result screen from his stream.

Have you played the new german tanks? I'm on the Vk 3001 d and I think you'd love it. It's got decent speed, an accurate gun, good sloped armor(roughly comparable with the 3601h), and unbelievable gun depression for a german tank.

camo does not work like that. so lets say a tank is behind a bush at 340m and your view is 400m. the bush takes away 30% of a tank view range when the tank tires to look through it. so 400-30%, would leave you with a view range of 280m of anything behind that bush, so you can not see the tank. but with Binoculars it add 25% so 400+25% = 500m-30%=350 so you can now see him

I have my M7 in the garage for crew training, for the upcoming T69 :) The T21 on the other hand.. finally got 1900exp (best round ever for me) but i really hate that tank... way too big/tall for a light tank, its more like a medium tank that wants to play "i can be scout!" Really hate the T21, cant wait to leave it haha.

I hated the amx 12t every game I drove it, the 13 75 had more fun moments. True the gun was a bit lacking for the tier compared to the 12t, but it actually had some gun depression unlike that sorry excuse for a tank that the 12t is. I did do a reasonable job with the 12t, but it's just a shame that a tank with a gun that has potential lacks any decent gun depression ;)
