I am very honored to be on your channel quickybaby. and just so everyone knows the Rhm Borsig wasn't a bad player. My first shot into him destroyed his engine which is why he didn't turn his hull with his turret. also during a lot of the low parts of that game I was actually trying to get my small fan running and putting my hand in front of it to get rid of all the sweat. it was such an intense game. TheThanimal Except Borsig should have stayed back and never came out into open. Worse yet he came out into open *AFTER* JP was dead. I guess he was trying to help, but too late. And how did arty end up alone without any support knowing that light tank is on the loose? Looks like they were way too confident and gave you no respect.

TheThanimal Recommended equipment? I did scout loadout, camo, optics and binocs. So do you recommend more of a medium tank setup? optics,vents, rammer?

slobodanc Yes I run it more like a medium. For Equipment I am currently running Gun Rammer, Vertical Stab. and binocs. For crew skills I wanted to make sure it could still do a scouts work. Commander I have sixth sense and camo Gunner I have camo and snapshot (to aid in fireing on the move. QB remarked about how much damage I did while on the move) Driver has Clutch Breaking (again that came in handy during that battle and makes the tank handle like a light tank a bit more.) and camo Radio Operater has Camo and situational awareness Loader has Camo and Repairs. All second skills on the crews are at 79% Thanks for the question Slobodanc. The problem with the Awful Panther is that it doesn't really do anything particularly well. You're too big and sluggish for ELC type active scouting. It's just too easy to hit a thing this big. Your camo is awful for a light tank. There are mediums with better camo ratings, so it's not that amazing at passive scouting either. If you want to do damage like in this video, you're just a badly armored, under-gunned medium tank with half the usual HP. The guy in the video would have absolutely destroyed the other team if he had been in a medium tank. It wouldn't even have been close with their continuing to go alone against him. Besides, if you get a scout tank with the plan of getting 7 kills and thousands of damage, you'll most likely be a waste of a team slot in most cases. It's what usually leads to suicide scouting. For helping your team this thing just isn't that good, since other tanks do everything much better than this one. It can still work of course, but it makes things harder than they have to be. :p

I guess what it has going for it is it's combination of speed, light tank camo(works while moving) and a poppy gun. This thing trades armor for mobility, which as seen in the video, really decided the game for Animal.

dragonheart967 Sure, but being mediocre at everything is very rarely more useful than having a real strength. It still doesn't have enough armor to be able to rely on it at all. Expect to bounce nothing. Ever. Well, maybe besides smaller scouts like 59-16, Leopard etc. Play it like you don't have any armor. Having a bit more armor is useful for those arty splashes, but from my scouting experience, that isn't really what you usually worry about killing you in the first place. A direct hit from one of them will still one-shot you. Oh, and about the camo thing.. It's too big to use a lot of the good passive spots, since the bushes won't cover it.

Gnawer Shreth I'm talking about keeping the camo up while moving, as in mobility does not give you away. Which helps when you are within an enemies view range but you need to get out.

dragonheart967 Correct, but that really doesn't help that much, when your camo is shit to begin with. I mean, it's still nice of course, but they have a higher chance of spotting you (moving or not) than a T54 or whatever sitting next to you.

You can make every tank work (yes, even the M3 Lee). You just need to develop a playstyle that suits you and the tank. This comes with the price of limitation and repetitiveness and sometimes you just have to accept that the tank won't work in a particular situation. But still, you can make it work.

Amazing performance, When I had the Awfullykrap panzer "guess ill have to call it something else now" I found everyone hit me in the turret usually killing me instantly. maybe its because I was trying to snipe with it rather than as a mobile light tank. I sold it after I unlocked all the modules. Now bought it back because I really want the New German light that follows it.

This is by far my most favorite light tank in the whole game. It was such a good rammer against other light tanks due to its weight; which made dueling with multiple enemies much more easier. It's a shame that WG replaced this magnificent tank with an auto-loading lunchbox

I'm really enjoying my Auf. Panther atm. You can't play it like a traditional scout - its too big. But it plays as a support tank very well! Like QB said, it plays much more like a medium sniper/flanker

This was without a doubt, in my mind at least, the best match I have ever seen this tank in. Played to perfection as far as I'm concerned! For a tank that was talked down for any number of reasons when it first appeared in game I was convinced that it was worthless. How wrong can you be? Keep up the great work!

Thanks for posting a positive video of this tank. It isn't the best light tank of its tier by any means, but it has a number of advantages that most people don't talk about very often. I'm convinced that the reason people have so much hate for it is that it can't scout to save its life. But play it as a medium with insane DPM (229 more than the Comet WITH higher pen) and it shines.

WOW! I was apprehensive about getting to this tank. IM on the VK2801 at the moment, which I LOVE. But I had heard so many negative things about the AuflkPanther. But watching this, MAN. I gives me a much better perspective, and on how to play it. I really play the VK2801 like this, but it being a howitzer tank, when faced with higher tier stuff its not as easy to come out on top. This looks to be an amazing tank, cant wait to get to it =3

10:12 is a key match winning moment for me. What looks like a questionable move stopping in the open in front of a full HP Jagdpanther, his map knowledge allowed him to make the correct decision and reverse into cover behind that small hill. I believe any other decision at that point would have led to his demise. Sure he got lucky on the T25AT but as they say, you make your own luck and that prior decision was the making of it.

I have Aufk Panzer, and it does REALLY AMAZING! It's DPS isn't shy, it's HP isnt gonna 1/2-hit kills, and its FAST! I like playing with it and enjoy it the most! Sad that I have to sold it, cuz I need quick money to get another tank...

The most fun part of this tank for me was to ram down any other light tank, special all those hard to hit sneaky french ELC, AMX and even the bat chat 25T, on the side ramming some artys was also fun, and avoiding ramming kills from non German tanks was also hilarious! The worst part is trying to play it as a scout, its just to damn big to hide behind bushes..

Wow! Very nice Thanimal. I recently got my (Awful Panther) and beside the fact that the stock grind. including a tier 5 turret and a tier 4 gun its acutaly funnzies. Btw derp gun using HE is the best way to grind to that top gun! At almost 27k battles, I still look for for some good advice and tips from you and Jingles. Being up in age myself I can try to match your guys skill, but it never works! Too bad you guys are on the EU server! Keep up on the good work.

Actually, I thought the Jagdpanther at the end was actually trying to get out to where the Borsig could cover him, allowing him to turn around, as the Borsigig could shoot the Auf. Panther if he tried to stay on the Jagdpanther's back/side.

The gun and it's reload is what really makes this tank a beast. The camp rating is worse than that of a standing Ferdinand but that does not matter as your enemies will be dead before they got to retaliate.

i have played this thing alot, and few tips: use armor, i have been bouncing some tier 10 shots and ram everything lighter than you, seriously, i have so much kamikaze medals with Awful panter and use that 75 mm, dont just scout for your team

I also feel the Awful Panther rather good, I had a 1700 base exp round in it too. Not the best tank in the game, but its gun and weight should never be underestimated in the hands of an experienced player. And I loved the feeling when my teammates said: "Wow you are the first awful panther player I see doing something in the battle!". :)

The only major Problem this tank has is the fact that the stock grind is horrible. Starting with a T4 gun is just major bull and then getting the turret to unlock the gun. And the thing that turns this tank into something worth playing is the engine which is like 24k XP.

Finaly... Someone who knows how to play the Aufcl. Panther . And it really is a medium tank and should be played like one... (his camo raiting is really not so good) I also have this tank and I had some games when I did the most damage in a T 10 game , but never a good result like this one...GREAT JOB !

The scout panther is what happens when you try to make a jack of all trades tank for a highly specialized role. It lacks the camo for a light tank and it lacks the armor, HP, and gun of a medium tank so 9/10 out of ten you could have done the same, if not better in almost any other tank in the same tier and class as this one.

Looks like it handles a lot like my T71, only fatter. I am not a big fan of my auto-loaders, so I might like this tank. Maybe I will pick it up sometime. I have a long grind though as I have very few German tanks.

I love the Aufkl. panther and consider it the best panther really. I sold it awhile ago because I felt the chinese line was more suited, but I have re-bought it (for the 3rd time now) to get some more play time in it. To answer QB -- the problem with the Aufkl. is not the lack of camo or it's huge size but rather the gun - when they replaced the konish with that excuse of a gun, they really hurt this tank (which was not the intended target of the nerf). But yes, it does thrive, especially when you come up against bad players.

this tank isnt actually to bad its more of a sniper than a scout its the perfect example of how not all lights are scouts this thing staying at range and out of view too avoid being annihilated then during the end game you can use your hp and mobility to so some serious damage during the climax of a game and also to ram arty and other scouts. im excited to get sixth sense so i can be a little more brave at firing from closer ranges an know when arty and the tds are zeroing in on me.

TheBlazinAsian XIV Of course light's can be snipers and scouts, don't be that guy that rages when your elc amx doesn't decide to suicide scout. Light tanks can be great snipers when they use their speed and camo to get to aggressive positions most mediums and tank destroyers can't normally get to, and provide great sniping fire into the flanks of others who don't usually expect gunfire to be coming from a spot in the middle. Tanks like the ELC AMX can be played like E25's except with higher alpha and more speed. Whilst tanks like the Auth. Panther and Type maintain play styles quite similar to that of cromwells/ comets and panthers.

TheBlazinAsian XIV scout is a role, not a class. it can be tried by any tank, except some are better at it. some LTs with guns worth keeping in the game shouldn't just suicide off into the enemy.

Ok...let me reword my first comment: Scouts are spotters first, attackers 2nd, I won't go "fucking hell! Passive scouting dmg stealing scout fiend" if you're actually spotting tanks and using bush- camo-kemp to your advantage, but sniping refers to snipers, which are long range action units....If you're camping back with the fucking tank destroyers, then you're doing it wrong, if you're in the lead shooting and spotting tanks without dying, then bravo to you sir o7 EDIT: Forgot to mention Intel towards "sui-scouting", being aggressive and spotting shit doesn't mean you're gonna die, literally tho, "if you're playing a SCOUT as a "SNIPER" then you're doing it WRONG" I don't give a literal shit to your arguments of "oh...but, I hv no hp, good dpm, I should totally snipe, plus, I hv OP bush-camo-kemp powers", no, no.....those are for "tank destroyers", that's THEIR arguement for staying back, you're not them. A scout's role is scouting.....why the literal fuck do you think it's called a scout? Why give it great camo? Why give it good dpm? Many ppl would answer the camp and dpm questions as I just posted above as "sniping!"...If you actually understand detecting mechanics, you can be 51 meters away from an enemy and still rape the literal shit out of him, while 1.spotting him, AND 2. Dmging him. If you're gonna do it "RIGHT" and are a competent player, then you'll have great success, scouting AND dmging, only terribads sui-scout.....or greats being countered by OP greater t10 meds. ..:/ this is why I enjoy my t62-a and 121 over my t-64 and wz scout series, but the potential is still there

The actual problem of it is that it has scout matchmaking. Most light tanks and some mediums will do a better job at scouting and the ability to relatively easy intercept active scout and kill them is not balancing the fact that due to matchmaking the other team will have a better scout tank unless it's another aufkl.panther (in which case both have to fight to the death by ramming). The tank can be successful when playing it as a scout killer, sniper and late game medium like flanker. But I think this tanks implementation in the techtree is just wrong. Replacing it with a different tier 7 scout and putting it as link between the Panther and the Ru 251 would be a good idea. There are lots of ways to improve this tank, removing the scout matchmaking would be best, turning it into a medium or giving it medium like health would be other ideas. I like that this is an actually mobile tank, which the tier 6 and 7 german mediums are certainly not.

i had about 300 battles with this panther, and for me it was awful, so i havent got even a single ace tanker.... after a few months i played on one my friends account with the panther and did ace tanker with new highscore for most xp for the account... its just about the experience that one player has.

I think that RHM's Engine was knocked out. I highly doubt that guy just stopped turning hit turret I know how much the Rhm can get its engine knocked out.

What I saw was only one player that understands and takes advantage of the situation, no one else had a clue and played like they were the only tank that mattered. That's the biggest hurdle in this game, everyone wants to lone wolf, nobody wants to cooperate. The me,me,me mentality in a team based game.
