World of Tanks | The KV-1 is Idiot-Proof

Good Game. If you wanted to learn how to avoid arty better...play them. I play lots of arties and have figured out where the safe places are. Obviously you can't stay safe all the time, but you won't be getting hammered all day by them. As for the KV1, I prefer my American tier V, T-1 Heavy. It shoots faster, it has more speed and the dpm is just slightly lower than the KV. I never use food and my T-i Heavy is rated in the top 100 of the WOT Hall of Fame for all of the NA server. Surprisingly enough I regularly take on KV's with my Matilda, which is rated in the top 50 of the Hall of Fame. Good hunting and good luck!

So you have several gun choices for this vehicle that are all viable. This is an older video of mine but I prefer either the 57mm now or the 122m. The 85mm also works well though, so it really just comes down to your playstyle and how you want to play it. If you want to track people permanently and have some wild dpm, the 57mm is your choice. If you want to smack people in the face with huge alpha and don't mind the longer reload and aim time, then you take the 122mm. If you want the in-between, you take the 85mm. This game was the 85mm.

I have been playing about 2 months and just got this tank. Has it been nerfed? As mine does less than half the speed I see on this video and I am lucky to get one shot off (that rarely penetrates) before being killed. It is really slow, the traverse is even slower, reverse is almost non existant, shots rarely pen and every hit I take penetrates me at nearly all angles. I am averaging less than 100 points per game so the nearly 40k points needed to get rid of this piece of rubbish will take way too long.

Do you have the tank fully upgraded and is your crew maxed out? As a new player these are things that take a long time. Grinding your crew and xp to get the maximum upgrades are a must if you want to be performing really well in the tank.

Did he really just call the KV-1 a piece of rubbish? Hahahaha you are rubbish man, you just started with WoT, you gotta git gud and then you will realize that it's one of the best tanks in the game.

@@TheDennys21 Pretty much sums it up. I cannot get on with this tank at all. The KV1s is good as is the KV85 But I am still sucking big time in the KV1 after 18 months of playing it. Its the only tier 5 tank I cant get the hang of.
