however, if youre specced into it, it would be smarter to obliterate when your target it is below 35% hp rather than frost strike if you have the runes for it

I think alot of DK's still would use the spell, atleast 2h Frost DK's, but Howling Blast with FS just deals way more damage atm. But back in the day, that was how Frost was played out. Obliterate just dealt such insane amounts of damage that I don't even think HB was used. (Been a long time.) But when killing machine procced it was normal to use Blood Tap or Empower so that one could get a good crit with Obliterate. Frost strike was best used as a dump, and didn't deal as much damage with Procs.

When fighting a healer just spam Necro and frost strike. If you have 2 dps in 3v3 lets say it is devastating . Your damage will be low but your other dps will make up for it.

Um my oblits hit for 30k on plate classes and frost strikes hit for 23k, but yer I guess u could use other runes for other stuff, but oblit gives good burst on pally healer for meh

Lol thats why DKs have been nerfed so much i mean eaven rogues need to w8 a bit to use abilities that cost combo points and frost mages need to get fingers of frost or arcane mages need to stack up the arcane explosion to deal max damage

i like my spec better for arena, desecration is helpful but not that much. you get more dps and cc out ofscent of blood andhand of doom in the blood tree. if youre using frost strike instead of death strike you need more runic power, which scent of blood gives you. i use hoqling blast first pri, necro strike and 2nd prioity, and then frost strike as third pri. i hace obli up for when Killing machine is up, only when target is low hp and need the extra burst of about 5k more dmg then frost stke

Read my post again then. I said never use Obliterate against platies if you know how to read. Obliterate is never used anymore. Not even against clothies. Maybe mages since they have resist.

Good vid but that 2nd fight took way too long, it looked like you Where playing tag. And you boasting 13k crits and not using OB, My OB with both BP and FF up hits for around 17k and crits around 21k. And for all those asking the addon he is using for the runes is called icehud or icyhud 1 of the 2 lol u get the hp and rp bar with it too

Tbh, this is abit wrong. You use Unholy and Death Runes for Necrotic Strike. When Killing Machine procs, you wanna use Obliterate, not Frost Strike. Either you blow all the runes and then pop Empower Rune Weapon and blast again. If Killing Machine procs you wanna use Obliterate. You're correct on one point, don't use Obliterate against Plate classes. You rather wanna spam Howling Blast and Frost Strike since magic hits harder than physical vs plates. But vs cloth spam Obliterate trololol!

Ofc Obliterate suck. I made this fucking comment 10 months ago. Almost a year. I've already had to explain this. In season 9, Obliterate was OP and critted for like 30k on full resi target. That's why you USED to use it. If you know anything about DK's, you'd know that was the way it used to be. However, frost sucks, unholy is so boss.
